Room was very nice. Good location located in Rincon right down the road from some of the best breaks in Puerto Rico. Nice resturants near by. Beautiful view of the ocean. Nice pool! The also have surf lessons if interested.

Absolutely awesome. Starting with Rincon itself: What a cool place. Super easy to move around and find your way around. Great food, great beaches, great people. Snorkeling is awesome on natural reefs - saw sea turtles on just about every adventure. Be sure to take a half day to visit the waterfalls in San Sebastian. On to the resort: Laid back, quiet and about as comfortable as you can get. We had rooms on the first floor right by the pool, which made it cool for the whole family. The Surf School was perhaps the best part. I, along with My wife and two daughters (12 &15) had never surfed ocean waves. Anthony and Julia met us at our hotel rooms to give us a brief instruction and safety orientation prior to hitting the beach. In no time, we were all riding waves and after only 3 sessions, we were all paddling into and catching waves on our own. Anthony was with us for all three sessions and he was about as good as you could hope for. He was genuinely excited for us and formed a bond with the entire family - he will not be forgotten! Thanks to the Rincon Surf Resort and the Rincon Surf School for making this our best family vaca yet!

The Hotel is in a quiet neighborhood and very suitable for families. We had a nice clean room with 2 big beds and a kitchenette. There was no check in necessary, the pin code for the room and the room number were sent to us in an e-mail, making things very easy for us. The room had a patio with a table and a hammock. The only thing we didn't check before heading to the supermarket was if the grill has any gas. It didn't, but no worries- steak in a microwave is not that bad either :)

The plus: surfing beach is a 2 minute drive. Hotel is secluded and quiet. Casa Islena staff are nice and professional. Breakfast is included (bread, cereal, yogurt, fruit, juice, coffee). Good quality towels, pool. The cons: No one seems to work on the property. It is secluded. We felt alone all night. A/c near our room was loud. To get back from beach, there is an extremely steep hill. No food or drinks anywhere on property, outside of breakfast.

We had a blast!! Service and vibes are perfect!! Everyone was great! Location Great! Crew great! I can not wait go go back! Big rooms killer view. Super cool staff. Great vibes. They know all the surf spots and all the coolest and best spot for eating in the area! Thanks!!!

I found this resort while looking for surf excursions that my husband and I could do while we stayed in San Juan. After I called to get more information, Travis completely convinced me to stay at Las Palmas/Rincon Surf Resort for the entire trip. It was absolutely the right choice. We chose to surf 3 days, and stay 4 nights. One of the days the wave conditions were not ideal, and it was no problem to move our last day of surfing to our departure date. They even let us check out late, and take our time packing up and showering when we got back from surfing. The rooms are very large, clean, and have a kitchenette/dining area. The showers were hot, and had great pressure. There are outdoor tables, hammocks, and a gas grill right outside of each room. The location is very private, but just minutes to the beach, dining, and shopping. The manager, Brett, was very accommodating, welcoming, and educated about Rincon and PR. He checked in with us before we arrived to make sure we had good directions, and assured us that he was just a phone call away if we needed him. He gave us lots of suggestions, feedback, and paired us with an amazing surf coach. Nego, a local of Rincon, was patient, attentive, and knew how much to push you out of your comfort zone to really succeed. He was also extremely cautious about our safety, and a true master at his craft. I am so glad that we forfeited our stay in San Juan to go on this surfing adventure. I am absolutely in love with the Rincon lifestyle, and I am counting down the days until I can return.

The room was awesome and big, it had everything we needed (including a balcony and a great view). The only down was that my cell had no network, but the place offers WiFi so it was no biggie. Would love to stay here again.

Stay I initially book this villa solo, as a female solo traveler. The staff was great at accommodating all my questions. At the last minute my friend decided to come as well. The people working at this villa are great!! They accommodated my friend and me with two rooms next to each other facing the beach/tropical area. The rooms were clean, nice, had a mini fridge, coffee maker, cups/spoons/knives/forks and microwave. Something that was a little bit confusing is that Las Palmas Inn is the Rincon Surf Resort. I think this is a new building or something. Anyways I called to confirm and it is the same. Service The people here were great. We were traveling from San Juan airport in a rental car, my friend and I drove separately. We must have called Bret and Travis like 5 to 10 times double checking on the drive and asking questions. They were really great and answered all our questions. Google maps took us directly there, no problems. Since my friend drove separate, we had to drop her rental car off on Monday, so we wouldn't have 2 cars there for the entire 4 days. Travis was great and helped up find the car rental place in Aguadilla to drop off her car. He actually called himself. They basically can book or take care of any requests that you have, no problem. Other things We did the all inclusive surf/stay package. We got 3-4 surf days/ both got amazing massages on the beach and they gave us great recommendations for places to eat. My friend didnt surf the entire trip because she wasn't feeling well. They adjusted the surf days that she didn't go. Overall - great place for solo female travelers, with friends or family. Great place to stay if you don't know the area, as they helped with everything!!

nice villa overlooking ocean.very quiet short walk through palmtrees leads out to beautiful ocean beaches nice for surfing . swimming beach is short distance away. Nice rooms coffee/muffins in morning. only con would be lack of hot water although i was told a new solar system was being installed. loved our surf lesson with BILLY!!! He was attentive and watchful. would stay here again!!!

My fiancé and I came to Puerto Rico for a friends wedding. It was a weekend getaway. This place was perfect for the occasion. It's location is tucked away in the mountain. To get there, you drive through residential homes, up and up through the mountain. The roads are super narrow so be careful with oncoming traffic because they will drive fast. It totally makes you feel that you're absolutely lost and in the wrong area. Just when you think you can't go any further up the mountain, there is a turn that takes you even higher lol. However, that last right turn takes you all the way down, pretty steep to the hotel itself. We got to the hotel around 7:00pm. When you book the hotel, they send you information regarding check-in. PLEASE THOROUGHLY READ THIS EMAIL. I made a mistake and did not read the details. So when we got to the hotel, the office was closed and we couldn't check in. Check-in was only until 6pm. We called the 3 numbers on the confirmation email, one of which was the office number; of course closed. The other 2 did not work. I went ahead and replied to the email address of the confirmation, hoping the email was attached to someone's phone, and luckily I received a quick response! We were told our keys were in the door of Room 7 which was awesome. We just didn't know this because, according to the email, we were in Room 1 -_- Honestly, that was the only hiccup we had. It's a surf resort so it was awesome to see all the surfers rippin' it on the coast. From the hotel, it seems like the beach it still pretty far away but you'll see that it's only a little walk through a jungle and you're there. There is a path (not man made) that takes you through the wilderness but on the other end, as you climb a very little hill, the most breathtaking view is revealed. Such a beautiful sight to see; just like something out of a brochure. Pretty private it seems with not a lot of people at all crowding the beach. Perfect for some relaxation and to enjoy the sounds of the ocean. The room itself was quaint. Queen bed, cute set up. Bathroom was sufficient. We didn't spend much time in the room but it was perfect for our weekend. The balcony is shared but it's pretty big. Each room with a patio table and each floor has a hammock which was really nice. The staff was very nice. It was a great getaway and I'm glad we chose this place. We are most definitely coming back but next time we're surfing! Just make sure to check in on time!! lol :)
