I want to give a big THANK YOU to Alex, Nego, and Anthony. You three were a huge part of what made our trip so enjoyable! We're already trying to plan another trip back! This hotel was exactly what we needed. Clean, simple, and comfortable. We had a room in the back of the building facing the ocean. I loved stepping outside in the morning to hear the sounds of the waves crashing. Our room had a queen bed, kitchenette, table, chairs, and tv. There is a great little pool that was always clean, but we were exploring the area or at the beach during the day. There are grills all around and a hammock in front of every room (definitely had a good nap on it). Rooms are opened and locked with an electronic key pad. The hotel is really close to some great restaurants and bars. It's about a 10 minute drive to the center of the city and the beach. I HIGHLY recommend renting a car. I had no idea it was going to be all hills! Like I said, what really made our trip great was the help from the staff. Alex was wonderful!! She knows the entire region and all the possible activities to do. She didn't hesitate to make any calls to inquire about anything we needed. She gave us a list of great places to eat, events in the city, and excursions in the region. If you want to surf just tell Alex or whoever is at the front desk and they'll set you up with an instructor. Nego and Anthony were superb surf instructors! I didn't surf, my boyfriend did, but I watched all the lessons and went with to the beach. They were on top of their game, making sure everyone was safe, learning, and most importantly having fun. My boyfriend loved it so much he's trying to plan another trip in a few months. TIP: If you're going to stay here, definitely make sure you have a car. But be careful driving. The region is a lot of narrow roads with constant twists and turns. The first stay was a bit scary.

This was probably the best surf trip I ever took! The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The room was HUGE and very clean! The pool looked nice but we are more beach dwellers. The location is great but you will need a car to get around. Amazing Fish Restaurants near including a Yoga/Spa and Vegan Cafe! Would definitely recommend for an amazing stay.

very pleasant place - hammocks, pool, great AC. secluded. only drawback (if you do not have a car): a steep hill if walking. no access to beach except back up a hill and down the other side. all else was excellent. with a car, no problem.

Great location, great people, awesome environment. I can't say enough about our stay at Las Palmas, we got to surf and hang by the pool everyday with fun restaurants and bars close by. We also made use of the grill and cooked multiple diners. Our room had a little kitchenette with everything we needed. We had the place to ourselves a few nights but even when other people were there each room has plenty of privacy. With cozy accommodations and accessible surfboard rental this is the place to stay in Rincon!!!

We went in March, my husband and I with our 2 teenage surf girls. Hotel and room was very clean and our room faced the back towards the ocean. Fresh bath towels, clean floors and plenty of storage for our clothing. The place is so relaxing and quiet. The Owner is a great guy, very enthusiastic about whatever you want to do. If you want to chill by the pool, read in the hammock, or surf waves...he's up for whatever your plan is and he'll help you figure it out if you have no plan. Anthony Luciano was our surf guide for 2 days and he was the best guide we've ever had in PR. He was attentive to our surfers and didn't let our little one out of his sight. We can not wait to go back! GO, you will not be disappointed.

Room was very nice. Good location located in Rincon right down the road from some of the best breaks in Puerto Rico. Nice resturants near by. Beautiful view of the ocean. Nice pool! The also have surf lessons if interested.

Absolutely awesome. Starting with Rincon itself: What a cool place. Super easy to move around and find your way around. Great food, great beaches, great people. Snorkeling is awesome on natural reefs - saw sea turtles on just about every adventure. Be sure to take a half day to visit the waterfalls in San Sebastian. On to the resort: Laid back, quiet and about as comfortable as you can get. We had rooms on the first floor right by the pool, which made it cool for the whole family. The Surf School was perhaps the best part. I, along with My wife and two daughters (12 &15) had never surfed ocean waves. Anthony and Julia met us at our hotel rooms to give us a brief instruction and safety orientation prior to hitting the beach. In no time, we were all riding waves and after only 3 sessions, we were all paddling into and catching waves on our own. Anthony was with us for all three sessions and he was about as good as you could hope for. He was genuinely excited for us and formed a bond with the entire family - he will not be forgotten! Thanks to the Rincon Surf Resort and the Rincon Surf School for making this our best family vaca yet!

The Hotel is in a quiet neighborhood and very suitable for families. We had a nice clean room with 2 big beds and a kitchenette. There was no check in necessary, the pin code for the room and the room number were sent to us in an e-mail, making things very easy for us. The room had a patio with a table and a hammock. The only thing we didn't check before heading to the supermarket was if the grill has any gas. It didn't, but no worries- steak in a microwave is not that bad either :)

The plus: surfing beach is a 2 minute drive. Hotel is secluded and quiet. Casa Islena staff are nice and professional. Breakfast is included (bread, cereal, yogurt, fruit, juice, coffee). Good quality towels, pool. The cons: No one seems to work on the property. It is secluded. We felt alone all night. A/c near our room was loud. To get back from beach, there is an extremely steep hill. No food or drinks anywhere on property, outside of breakfast.

We had a blast!! Service and vibes are perfect!! Everyone was great! Location Great! Crew great! I can not wait go go back! Big rooms killer view. Super cool staff. Great vibes. They know all the surf spots and all the coolest and best spot for eating in the area! Thanks!!!
