This property was off the 'beaten path and well worth it'. It is located in Puerta Princessa proper but just far away from the noise of the city to make it an Oasis. It is well maintained, and comfortable. We stayed in the Family Room which was quite primitive, but comfortable for my family of 4. The staff was AMAZING, the absolute friendliest folks that you could ever meet. They were always around to help with anything that we needed and gave top service with warm smiles. The restaurant had pretty good food that did not make us feel like we were bring robbed. I would recommend to the management to take a more proactive approach to mitigating the infestation of mosquitoes.
The staff is friendly, courteous and fast with all the services. I stayed in a Nipon Hut that had AC & a fan to keep cool during the hot days indoors. They cook a tasty breakfast, lunch & dinner that can be eaten anywhere on the property including the treehouse. They booked my tours, did my laundry, made sure that a had a driver to take me anywhere I wanted to go without over charging me. They have to number for you to get a scooter delivered to you right at the resort and pick it up when your done with it. I took one of the glass bottom canoes out and went paddling all around the Mangrove trees and watched the young boys fishing with nets and hand held spears. I highly recommend the place if your looking to get away to a quite peaceful place away from the crowds and noise.
