It was a pleasure to stay At Sunscape. The staff was very nice and restaurants were good.

Love the kindness of the staff overall. Food is always great and tasty! They accomodated my infant with a crib which is a plus! Will definitely go again.

Many A la carts restaurants. Snack bar at pool and beach and other areas. The club room family pool was great for my kids with snacks and food order at the bar there too. I would have liked a nice big playground for kids to play at. Other than that it was clean and staff were very friendly.

We've done 40 All Inclusives - (we're retired) The property has pros and cons - It's a great size! You can be to any of the restaurants, beach or pools in 5 minutes. Great lay-out and beautiful grounds. The entire place needs updating in all areas - The staff is outstanding - The pillows are horrible!! The food is edible, but more like high school cafeteria food. Low quality meats - generally in sauces or gravy. No fresh salsa, queso and guacamole only once in 2 weeks. The specialty restaurants are just slightly better than the buffet. The grounds are kept very nicely, and there were always chairs at the pool and beach, no reason to do the 6 am "save the chair thing" All in all, it's a 3.5 star, but with some improvement to quality of food and perhaps bedding, it could be a solid 4 star! The majority of people there were "blue hairs" and they seemed quite happy with the food and the resort itself.

The property is well-kept and pleasant. The hotel complex was much more compact than other all-inclusive hotels we have visited in the DR, making it convenient. Even though we were there at Christmas, the place didn't feel overrun. The beach is fantastic. The only thing that was a step down compared to other all-inclusive places was the food. It wasn't bad; just not particularly great. Nonetheless, I'd be happy to return.

Love the hotel, the personnel make my stayed wonderful. The water Aerobics instructor is the true Star of that hotel. He is Amazing, his energy and hospitality.

1. Front desk people were rude and un attentive. 2. No wifi in the rooms, pool area, restaurant. Only in the lobby. 3. The food is terrible and little options. 4. Guests do not social distance. They flock around you 5. Everything is dated. 6. The pool is dirty 7. The bed was broken 8. To park the car we had to get in a car and drive like 2 miles in the heat. The only good thing was the bathroom and AC and beach. Never again! We were miserable and decided to leave early. So, we gave up 2 rooms that were paid just because of the terrible food and service.

Once we arrived to resort we were greeted and taken to VIP check in greeted with hand sanitizer given champagne and and little something sweet once everything was done we were escorted to snack while we waited for our bellhop driven to our suite once we arrive we had a banner on our door welcoming us suite was amazingly clean clean was nice having a closed off section of resort for adults only had your private pool and restaurant for those staying in that section

Horrible this is 3 star hotel, my suggestion do not go to this hotel, is very old without any conditions, and drinks are domestic, horrible, avoid this hotel

Always room for improvement

Rude staff, same food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Bad/no entrainment. No wifi but lobby only.

I have traveled to many different resorts throughout the Caribbean and this was by far the worse experience ever, when we arrived we were greeted by a lady who didn’t even look at us throughout the check-in process when we would ask questions about the resort she would answer with ask that staff over there or call the lobby tomorrow, the following day we went to the lobby to ask about the COVID test which stated was included in the package we purchased their answer was that was a promotion from last year and you have to pay or upgrade your room, there was a guest at the moment who had upgraded her room and they also refused to give her the COVID test so we opted not to upgrade, that same day we were at the pool and all the locals who were also guests complained of how terrible the hotel was, the liquor ran out at about 3pm and the hotel refused to restock, they closed the bar and told guests “oh well get out the pool if you don’t like it”. They have about 5 restaurants which they only open 1 at a time, you basically have to eat what they want you to eat, the buffet is only filled once if they run out of food they don’t restock, my wife is vegetarian and the only vegetarian option was fresh fruit rice and beans for breakfast lunch and dinner. When my mother went to the small cafeteria in the back they refused to give her more than two sweets. On our last day there was vomit all over and they basically clean it by throwing it into pool. Dirty, nasty,rude hotel.

The best vacation for the family best staff ever and the best bud tender you can find is Saluda The lobby

The beach is beautiful, the food was tasty and the staff is very pleasant and attending to its guess. The hotel is in desperate need of a facelift, the phone did not work, NO WIFI!!! In the rooms, the food selection although tasty was very limited, the entertainment was non existent, the vendors on the beach do not take NO for an answer, only 2 towels per room, over the weekend a lot of loud obnoxious locals came to the property for the day, they were very disrespectful and put a burden on the staff and long staying guess. The drinks were diluted with water. There is a small garden in the middle of the pool which attracts insects and bugs which die and end up in the pool , whoever thought a garden in the pool was a good idea should be fired. It polluted the pool with dirt, leaves and insects. The light fixture in the room was broken , i called the front desk multiple times and nothing was done

At first I thought this location was going to be amazing due to the pictures, man was I wrong. I traveled with two small children let me begin by saying that the food was terrible. Little to no accommodations for kids ( no French fries, chicken nuggets, mash, etc). The activates during the day were boring and very limited. The music was terrible while being out at the pool. The room had one light.. JUST ONE. It was super dark. The shows were like maybe 30 min long and would finish around 10:30 if you wanted to have a late night snack you would have to wait till like 12AM because they said it would be open by 11 PM but nope they opened whenever they wanted to. When we went to the beach the locals were very harassing at either providing services or wanting you to buy things. One lady harassed me into a foot massage and had the nerve to tell me it was 60 US dollars. We dont even pay that much here. I didn't find a convenient ATM on site. The buffet area serves you the food you dont get to serve yourself. Im not sure if this has happened due to covid but the stay was terrible. Never again.

Was lied to upon check-in about upgrading to "Sun Club". was told it was adults-only section, unlimited WiFi among other things. The restaurants were somewhat open and revolving each day differently, however the food was pretty much identical anywhere you went. Breakfast with omelet's to order was about the only good thing food wise. I did have a "Chef cut" steak in the Gaucho restaurant and to me was the only good lunch/dinner I had while staying. I had went each day to file my complaints to hear the old "why didnt you tell anyone"... which of course was responded with "I have, and I cannot control your staff with what they do with it". In the end i was refused any refund and was offered a "free upgrade when I return". Which as anyone knows with a bad experience WHY WOULD I RETURN>?? So now i have to try and dispute with my credit card and hope that works, we will see. STAY AWAT FROM THIS RESORT-- severe need of remodel/update and food control. also training of staff wouldnt hurt-- especially not to lie/offer what cannot be given

Do not come here, food was terrible restaurants were closed the rain flooded the buffet area. They charge me for 2 people and giving problems trying to get a credit.
