The front desk staff was very courteous :) The immediate first impression is great with the beautiful lobby, view of the main pool and the kind staff! Then you are sent to the concierge desk. Ours was helpful and very charming. We were not interested in a sales pitch, no problem, But when we asked about hotel discounts (we wanted to book a helicopter tour), we were told that in order to get them, we would need to "stop by and say hi" to the sales team. We agreed as it would be "just a few minutes of our time". At the end I was told i would need to pay a $40 fee. What? Refundable, but necessary to hold my time spot. Then i asked how long it would really be... "Well, they say 90 minutes, but you don't have to stay that long". Haha! My sister and I checked in so our spouses were not with us. We wanted to attend together, but that wasn't allowed. Needless to say they did not go for it at all and I had to call and cancel as soon as we got to our room. I have yet to be refunded though. I guess I'll need to call for that. I get that this is a time share, but if you're also going to operate as a hotel, you should offer the hotel discounts to patrons just for staying there. No catch. I guess it's to be expected of a time share, but still a little frustrating.
The room was another story. The main bathroom was not very clean. Like even hairs on the back of the door. And there was a large stain on the carpet by the kitchen. We wiped thing down and let it go as we had plans, but a few d
