Get rid of plastic keurig cups... this is a terrible choice for a major hotel chain if it wants to be a leading choice in terms of corporate social responsibility.
Really nice stay. Updated with taste, wasn't expecting that level of class at all. The only reason I rate this as a 4 - the check in was very slow (20 minute wait) and the parking is across the street in an open parkade. The in house restaurant was fabulous as well!
I decided to treat my wife with a stay at a hotel in our own town for her birthday. I went for the Jacuzzi suite at the Prince George Ramada, as I heard that this venue did some amazing renovations. Well, the upgraded suite was a disappointment, as the king sized bed was very still and uncomfortable, the Jacuzzi tub was useless (we were filling it for 25 minutes and it was only half way; we had a dinner reservation so we didn't even have a chance to use the tub), and the room overall felt quite dated. Definitely no major renovation in this room in many years. On the plus size it was clean and quiet.
The hotel rooms have been recently renovated and are very modern and comfortable though rather dimly lit. Starbucks in the lobby is a bonus. The housekeeping staff were generally pleasant. Where the contradiction comes in is the great service that one desk clerk and the maintenance man provided versus the bellhop on duty the night I arrived who watched me struggle to get two bags in through the heavy double doors from his warm position inside the hotel lobby and that of the desk clerk on duty at check out who shrugged her shoulders and walked away after telling me it was not her problem how I got to the airport if I wasn’t able to get a cab. I struggled with the overall rating of this hotel but the first and last taste this place gave me were both sour.
Hotel need to update WIFI. It is very slow and does not work some times. Also, gym needs updating - old equipment and TV's don't work half the time.
The Prince George Ramada is a convenient location. The bed is comfortable and the staff are friendly and helpful. The room is decorated mainly in black or charcoal. The drawers for example are all black as is the closet. If your clothing and phone and other belongings are white or light coloured, you should have no problem with this. Lighting in the bathroom makes putting on makeup almost impossible. There is no bathtub and the shower has a rain shower and a hand held shower head. There is no shower head you can just place and angle while soaping your hair. Overall, there is nothing problematic about this hotel that could not be solved by a good interior designer.
After being stuck in town staying here was a nice surprise with updated rooms and decent lounge. Also has a pool and jacuzzi. Don’t hesitate to book here. Very close to restaurants and other establishments down town.
Our favorite place to stay when going to Prince George. Friendly staff, nice restaurant in the hotel, and comfortable beds.
Good Hotel with excellent, courteous, professional staff. In my personal opinion, the room must have a microwave and a refrigerator.
Overall poor stay paid for 4 nights left on our 3 night losing our money for 4th night changed hotels.Intermittent internet and tv construction in ajoining room Rude staff not helpful .Rude staff in Starbucks in lobby This was a medical stay and would not recomend this hotel
