Coast Inn of the North

It is a little disconcerting driving up to the Coast hotel because it is not a great part of town. But once you are inside, it is just fine. Quiet and no issues with neighborhood. The hotel has four parking lots. We chose the rooftop lot because we could park right below our room window to keep an eye on our car. The room was large and nice with what you would expect from a good hotel. We liked that we could open the window instead of using air conditioning. Winston’s Resto Bar in the hotel is a great place to eat (see separate review). When we were there, it was a bit inconvenient because they were rebuilding their elevators. One of the two main elevators was not operating but the service elevator at the far end of the hall was available to guests. If you went to the main elevators on the guest floor, it was hard to determine if the elevator was actually going to come or not. We were not on a very high floor so we got some exercise on the stairs. But this is all temporary so not a big deal. If we are in Prince George again, we will likely stay here again. TripAdvisor gives it the best rating of any hotel in town and I don’t doubt that.

We only stayed one night but the hotel is amazing, from the front desk staff to the management everyone was very friendly and accommodating. Stayed in a junior suite and I would recommend it, the room was spacious and the bed was supremely comfortable. We will definitely stay again when we come to Prince George.

Very nice hotel to stay, besides a bunch of noisy guests i had on my floor. At some time during the night i called reception and complained about the noise, people running thru the hallway, yelling and screaming. Something had been done by the hotel so the noise was not the issue anymore . On my check out i got a free night for that night, nice gesture. Apparently the noisy guests will not be allowed to stay in the same hotel again. Overall, the rooms are clean and very neat, beds are comfortable to sleep in, the wireless is good, parking is free, breakfast is not included and it is a bit too expensive for my taste to have a breakfast in the hotel restaurant. Conclusion, i will be booking this hotel in the future again.

Second time staying at the Coast Inn of the North and they really made our stay a blissful one. The room was absolutely incredible, luxe , friendly staff and we really enjoyed ourselves. Thank you for the upgrade! I will keep coming again and again! Only thing I wish they had better coffee in the rooms as it's very strong ... I'm just not a fan of Starbucks coffee. Bed & towels comfy, room was clean very sizeable, nicely cleaned and decorated and lastly it was very cold in there which is good because last stay they AC was not working so this time was awesome. See you next time! Roxy

Nice hotel for the price with all the amenities one needs. Decent size pool with a jacuzzi, and a good breakfast restaurant on the premises. Close to the downtown core and other restaurants. Area is very quiet.

After a long day's travel I was welcomed by the staff who had my room ready for me in very short time. The room was very clean , tastefully decorated. The bathroom was immaculate with every convenience included. The quality of food in the dining room was impeccable. I would highly recommend this inn to any travel weary that want fast checkin time, great dining & a very comfortable and relaxing sleep

This hotel is great value during high season. The rooms were clean and the hotel was relatively quiet. Front desk staff was friendly and welcoming. Only drawvack is that some rooms have double beds and the parking it's hard to find if hotel is full. The hotel is located near family restaurant and has a restaurant on site as well which is convenient. It does have a bar on site as well but doesn't affect the quietness of the rooms at all: i would recommend this hotel to others.

We arrived in the early evening without a reservation and the front desk staff were exceptionally accomodaing. They were out of regular rooms so they gave us a suite for no additional charge. The room was spacious, the sheets were good quality, the bed comfortable, the towels soft and thick. The room was spotlessly clean. We had a great night's sleep. My only suggestion is that they steam the hallway carpets as they were a bit spotty. Overall, this was a most pleasant stay.

Very comfortable hotel. Staff are very friendly. The Winston Restrobar has a very good choice of food and drinks. Certainly good value for money - luxury at affordable price. Shower was excellent. Loved it!

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone passing through or planning to stay a while in Prince George. I had to make last minute Ganges due to a medical emergency and the staff were incredibly kind and accommodating. The fact that they took pets was incredible as well.
