It is a simple and average hotel for a three star hotel. It looks old and worn out. The service was good and nice staff, but the rooms are in not so good conditions: old furniture, old and broken toilet lid. There are no curtains in the small and tiny bathtub, you cannot take a proper shower. The phone is not working properly, the receptionist could barely hear us. The free wi-fi was very poor, going on and off all the time. We asked for a kettle in the room and were told, that there are only two in the hotel always being somewhere and cannot get it for us. The light in the room is very poor. The breakfast was awful, same food everyday, the beans were undone. Only one TV channel in czech.
+ nice lobby and reception area + rich breakfast + fast free wi-fi - hard to find a parking space, but can pay around 20 EUR to park it in the hotel garage - some of the rooms has been refurbished according to the webphotos, not my room
Unlike the previous reviewer we found the staff to be friendly & informative. We were accommodated in the building across the road to the main hotel. Our room was clean & spacious. The bathroom was okay, but the location of loo roll holder could have been better. You have to be a contortionist to reach for the paper! The room was very hot (this was in late October), on opening the windows you were greeted by the shouting of the customers (often until at least 2am) from the noisy bar on the corner. The hotel's bar was fine, but only had 1 bottle of red wine. (We were a large group). The barman didn't want to open a new bottle of tonic water when one of our party wanted a gin and tonic! The price included breakfast which was ok, but bread needed to go through the toaster at least 4 times to get even a tinge of colour! On balance, reasonably priced for what you get, and the hotel is located fairly close to bus & tram stops.
We were met by very arrogant staff. Photos of rooms not showing a reality. I cannot even call it as hotel. gross. Parking for a car - 20 €/night. And parking place is not in the same street. Place of hotel does not look very safe.
The room was clean and ok size of room. My friends and we stayed two different rooms. Their room were not as good as mine, but Internet connection was better. My room wifi was so bad I had to stay at near the window to check up load , etc. Took longer time to send photo on sns.
Lindas habitaciones, el staff fue muy amable. Todo estaba muy limpio. El desayuno delicioso. Cero quejas, muy complacidos. Nice rooms, the personal was very kind. Everything was clean, delicious breakfast. Nothing to complaint, we were very satisfied.
If you book economic rooms expect old and basic but very clean and good value for money. No a/c but there's a fan. At least a good number of rooms no view or even a window. If for barely sleeping manageable. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. 3rd bldg has upgraded rooms which we moved to. Big difference at acceptable rates. Very nice terrace for around 5 tables. Supermarkets nearby. Tram and bus stops very nearby. Go for upgrade. Amazing Lavicta restaurant nearby and Vodafone dealer.
we were disappointed when we arrived at this hotel-the photographs on the website were very cleverly taken! Our room was very worn, no tea or coffee making facilities, and very hot! There was no AC but a fan was provided. We could not open the windows as we were directly opposite a club/bar which was extremely noisy until the early hours( even with the window closed). Breakfasts were adequate but not exceptional-rock-hard fried eggs, fairly dirty table cloths and the mugs/cups often 'ran out'. Having said all of this, the staff were very friendly and helpful and a brilliant sheet of tips and details of how to get to different points in the city was provided.
I stayed here for two nights on business. The hotel was clean but very basic. The reception and bar area don't match the rooms. I also thought it was a little pricey for what you got. Staff were nice and courteous which was good.
