The hotel is definitely a more affordable option compared to other hotels and areas, but being just a quick walk across the river from the old town, this was a much quieter and relaxed option to the overly busy old town area. I’ve never stayed in a hotel quite like this, the downstairs is beautiful, old wood panelling, bookcase full of books, a tree and check in desk with a complimentary welcome Prosecco. The room was huge- with a reception room leading to a large bedroom and large bathroom. All very well furnished, exceptionally clean and ‘grand’. Breakfast was good, much better than I had anticipated. And was free! You can also eat in the library room in the front which was much more relaxing than eating in the usual dining area. I’d happily stay here again if I go back to Prague by myself.

Breakfast was good. Coffee excellent. Hotel is located on the fringe, so not many good restaurants nearby and a 15 minute walk to old town. But it was quiet at night, bed comfortable, and close to bus.

Brilliant!

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Julian. The staff are exceptional particularly Marcela who was professional, friendly and very informative - she really made our stay a great experience. The excellent breakfast set us up well for a day of sightseeing. We loved the quiet yet convenient position of the hotel, just a short walk or tram ride to the main sights of Prague. Would definitely stay again on our next visit to Prague and would recommend to friends and family.

Our stay at Hotel Julian suited us very well. It is in a great location, very reasonable priced including breakfast and afternoon tea. The staff are friendly and helpful. Though clean and comfortable it is not luxurious, and the breakfast was OK.

The hotel is lovely we stayed 6 nights. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and they had plenty of choice. The location was close to all attractions and the tram was a 2 minutes walk from the hotel. All the staff from the kitchen, cleaning and reception are welcoming and friendly. A big thank you to Marcela she was very happy, friendly and very helpful with whatever we needed.
