Just got back from this hotel in Prague, we stayed a week. Absolutely wonderful hotel the staff are so amazing breakfast time is a wonderful experience. I will only stay here if I come back to Prague.i usually struggle with the mattress such a comfortable bed and room. Thankyou all
I stayed in this hotel with my wife for 4 nights while in Prague and we both thought it was one of the best hotels we've stayed in, especially for the price. The breakfast buffet was fantastic and offered a wide selection of hot and cold foods, not to mention a piano player to start off the morning just right. The room was really comfortable with a huge, comfortable bed and huge bathroom. The hotel itself is well located as we were able to walk to Letna Park, overlooking Prague, and get to the Old Town Square and Wenceslas square all pretty easily. There's also a tram stop pretty much immediately outside of the hotel.
- good to visit during a non-peak day (value for money) - 5min walking distance to the old town - interior is very modern and relaxing - room vas very clean - bath tub and hot water were perfect after a long days walk - complimentary tea/coffee at the lobby and the room
Very nice Hotel located in the city center. 10 minutes walk from everything. Big bright rooms, very clean and spacious. Rooms are being cleaned every day. Also there is very nice SPA in the hotel, the offered discounts for hotel guests.
The Grandior hotel is in a very convenient location , in a street of shops restaurants / cafes and a shopping mall 5 mins walk along the same street . The hotel has a long entrance in , with a modern spacious lobby interior . The check in was swift and problem free . Our room on the 8 th floor was quiet and overlooked offices and a courtyard . The twin room we had was a very good size and the contemporary bathroom with underfloor heating was especially nice .'The breakfast room on the 1 st floor was always crowded and was not set out well. - with items on different counters - with people bumping into one another criss crossing to take the food items . The waitresses look grim ( and don t smile back even when smiled at !!!) They seem only intent on swiftly removing your plate - even if you haven t finished eating !!! I felt uncomfortable in the breakfast room because of these thing and so we decided against eating breakfast there from then on . We ate dinner one evening in the restaurant and whilst it was ok .. it took AGES to come ( there were only 2 other people in there !!) . - and it was quite expensive for what we had ( broccoli soup and a burger and chips ). I would like to compliment the hotel on it s in house jewellery shop . The Indian guy there was very knowledgable about the Bohemian garnets and was a great salesman !!!As for eating out , I would recommend the Hard Rock Cafe in the centre of the Old Town (. very near the Anatomical clock ) . Trams pass outside the hotel ( with various stops ) We had a taxi to and from the airport but there is an airport tram too .
Stayed in the Grandior for the 2nd time on my 3rd trip to this beautiful city. Great location for the Old Town, everything within walking distance. Just one small gripe, restocking of coffee and teas in room could've been better.
If you put the Grandior hotel in any city in the world it would compete with the best hotels they have to offer. One downside is that I didn't win in the casino!! We paid a tiny amount extra for the Suites as we were travelling with friends for our anniversary, as the price was so cheap I really didn't expect the separate lift to the 3 rooms on our floor (the other occupied by the General manager), beautiful rooms with a rooftop balcony with views over the whole of Prague!! We ate elsewhere ,so cannot comment on that, but Breakfast was superb, with all choices you would expect, and all good quality. The Bar area was again very upmarket, and also we were given free drinks on arrival, and a very cheap cocktail hour every day in the afternoon. The hotel is close to all sights, so we didn't need a taxi etc at any point, other than airport transfers which were cheap and the driver collected us from inside the terminal. I had asked the Hotel to supply a Pork Pie in our friends room (private joke), but even though they had not heard of such a thing, I sent a photo, and there was the biggest pork pie waiting for our friends on arrival- Well done Chef!!)
My wife and I spent 4 nights at this hotel and were not disappointed. The breakfast is first class and the staff are extremely helpful. The rooms are warm, comfortable and very clean. In the room you have an iron and ironing board, a hairdryer and complimentary toiletries. There is a mini bar which is well stocked and safety deposit. My wife and I have stayed in Prague 10 tens in the past and because of the high quality of this hotel, we will only stay at the Grandior when we visit Prague in the future. The hotel is central with a 10 minute stroll to the main attractions. You can enjoy lots of rstaurants, shops and supermarkets which are all very close, however which we didn't use it, the hotel restaurant menu looks very good as well. My advice is, give this hotel a go, you will not be disappointed. There is a tram stop directly outside the hotel (Billa Labut) which is very cheap and will take you any where in Prague. You can purchase tickets for the trams from the concierge and again is a hive of helpful information. You can use these tickets for the metro, tram or buses. You can get a 30 or 90 minute ticket or a 3 day ticket and these tickets are really cheap. Thank you Grandior, my wife and I appreciate your help, we had a great time and we will see you next time we visit Prague.
Stayed for two nights- couples break -Centre of town-about 20 min walk from Charles Bridge and another 15min on top to the castle - Very modern. Free WiFi(if a bit slow). Great showers. Heated bathroom floor. Warm main room with air-conditioning. - breakfast set up second to none with an army of helpful staff there to refill drinks, clear tables etc. No scrimping on staff. - check in desk helpful and organised taxi for trip to the airport. The majority of staff have good English. -I actually feel the hotel rooms are underpriced for the overall quality I experienced.
Fabulous hotel, perfect for sightseeing, no more than 10 min walks to most things. There is a Lidl right across the street which is dirt cheap for water, snacks etc. The breakfast was excellent each morning with a mixed buffet of anything you could possibly want. Will definitely return to this hotel
