My daughter and I spent a couple of days in Prague. We stayed at best western kinsky garden. The staff member who took up our cases to our room, older gentleman, was funny, helpful and a pleasure to be around. The other staff members were also very helpful and polite. The breakfast is varied and filling to last most of the day. Walking distance to most attractions 20/25 mins, ensure you wear comfortable shoes.
We stayed here for 4 nights at the end of November and upon arrival we were given a warm welcome at reception. We were on the 4th floor, so it was up a few steps to the lift, so anyone using a wheelchair will struggle because I never seen any ramp. On entering the room, which like most hotels was warm, so for us we turned the heating down and opened the window as we prefer a cooler room. The room itself was spacious and the bed comfortable. The bathroom was fine although we found the shower was small. The bar was cozy and we'll stocked. Breakfast was plentiful and hot. As others have said the hotel is very close to shops and restaurants, local public transport and a short walk to Charles Bridge and the Old Town of Prague. We found the hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful. If we return to Prague we would certainly choose to stay in the Best Western Kinsky Garden Hotel.
Stayed at the Best Western Kinsey Gardens 20/24 Nov. Pleasant stay, all staff pleasant and helpful, especially Jana,in the bar, nice young lady, always had a smile, and talkative. Room plain but nice size, always hot water, decent bathroom. Breakfast adequate, better than hoped for,4hours open for breakfast, although card for key suggested a restaurant, this closed some 2 yrs ago,so only breakfast.Hotel located some 2mins from trams into and around Prague, shopping centre less than 10mins away, greasy architecture all around Prague, would like to visit when warmer.Would I stay at this hotel again.you bet I would.
Found the hotel very good in all aspects. Staff were excellent, cheerful and helpful. The room was adequate. The breakfasts much better than I had expected. The building is attractive. The location is convenient for the tram stop, about two minutes walk away or it's really not that far to walk into the centre.....maybe 25 minutes (and along the river is quite picturesque). Booked as part of an Easyjet holiday from Bristol and would do so again if visiting the city.
This was a very nice stay the hotel is situated 15/20 mins away from all the tourist parts like the old town centre. You can get the trams 🚃 just around the corner of the hotel aswell and it will take you to any of prague. The rooms are very very tidy good size bed and bathroom. It’s bed and breakfast and the good thing is breakfast ends at 11 so after a heavy night in Prague you can always get your breakfast in 😉😉. It’s a place I’d stay again when I come back it was a great experience staff are very helpful and they can direct you anywhere on the map. And only 20 mins transfer from the airport. Great hotel 👍👍
Hotel Kinsky Garden was the perfect hotel for us! We parked the car in the lot up the hill from the hotel upon arrival and pretty much left it there with the exception of one day when we travelled out of the city. We love to walk and so wandering over the bridges to the Old Town was as easy as can be. It's a comfortable and easy10-15 minute walk if you're taking your time and strolling. If you're not inclined to walk as much (or if the weather isn't cooperating), the tram stop is just on the corner. So it gets full marks for location. The immediate area has loads of absolutely fantastic restaurants. We can easily recommend Cafe Savoy for brunch and Czech Slovak restaurant for an amazing dinner. The staff were all absolutely lovely. They were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The large windows are fantastic. The hotel is WARM! If you're visiting during the cold months, have no fear about that. I actually left the windows open! The breakfast was much better than expected with a wide selection from eggs and sausages to cereal, breads, yogurts, fruits, cheeses... You name it. Really nice! I would happily recommend this hotel to anyone.
Nice little hotel, staff are friendly and rooms were clean enough but nothing special. Breakfast wasn't topped up so if you didn't go early you missed all the hot food and were left with a choice of croissants or cheese/ham rolls. Pillows were terrible. Good location about 15 minute walk to Charles bridge. Wifi worked well. Hotel did hold our bags after checkout which is always helpful.
We had a lovely five night city break staying in this hotel which was really nice and we cannot fault it. The beds were comfortable, the room was large enough and we had a lovely shower in the bathroom. Breakfast was very good with a lot of choice suiting everyone. There is a bar and bistro but we went out to eat and drink. We were near restaurants and our meals were very good. The hotel is opposite a large and beautiful park which has red squirrels in and also a fenicular railway which we also used. Prague is a lovely city and we did a lot of walking. All in all we had a wonderful stay. This hotel is in a very good position.
What a little gem!!! We stayed here for 3 nights in the most comfortable big twin beds. All facilities were excellent. Hanka our chambermaid made sure our room was clean and tidy. Bathroom was a good size with a good powerful shower. Water a little cool in the mornings sometimes but not a problem. Well stocked fridge in the room as well as a kettle and tea and coffee. Bar staff were very friendly and fun. Reception staff were helpful and on the whole chatty. Breakfast was very good with lots of choice from cereals to bacon. Staff were friendly. Our only thing was it was very warm in the room!! We turned the heat down but still too hot!! It was fine with the windows open for a bit!!!!
Front of hotel staff were very helpful with a couple of queries we had ,rooms were kept very clean by the staff, breakfast staff worked their socks off keeping the food topped up and clearing the tables. Keep it up ,Well done
