Located on the beautiful island of Palmaria, right in front of Porto Venere in a quiet and unique place with stunning sea view. Taxi boats run throughout the day from Porto Venere to the island (10min.). It couldn't be more easy and comfortable: just in front of the house you can enjoy a bath in cristal clear water. A short walk takes you to another beach with bar and restaurant. You'll love our outdoor kitchen on the veranda - simply amazing to dine under the starry sky, listening to the silence and the sound of the sea. Green garden area for sunbathing with loungers and outdoor shower - also with hot water. Go for a hike and explore the island and it's amazing vegetation and panoramic views over the sea. Hidden gem in plain sight

Wow. What a place. This family of 4 had a truly wonderful week at Villa Olivio, and can only recommend you to spend your vacation here. Portovenere - with its liveliness, restaurants, and a small but well-stocked grocery store - is only 5 minutes away by boat (easy to reach with a boat, departs every 30 minutes or so). Still, you have that island feel on Palmeria. The pace is low, the crowds are almost non-existing and you can take a dip in the water wherever you please. But the most important bit is this: Villa Olivio is a true gem. Located in an old house with a couple of other apartments, this one stands out. The apartment feels completely secluded, the gate from the property opens directly to a small beach, and you have access to a private garden, an outdoor shower, and an amazing terrace. In fact, the shadowy terrace with its outdoor kitchen proved to be such a wonderful place to be (and to cook & enjoy meals!) that we ended up spending every evening here. The indoor facilities were just as expected (or better) - a cosy "summer cabin-ish" feel, with all the amenities you need. The A/C in the living room is capable of cooling down both the bedrooms too. You have a dishwasher, washing machine, and two fridges (one of them at the terrace). Ombretta is a kind & loving hostess, backed up by Alberto (the charming and lively "fixer" who can & will get you to Portovenere - or anywhere else - by his boat). Highly recommended - we hope to come back!

Sehr entspannter Inselaufenthalt

Die Insel ist wunderschön, die Wohnung direkt am Meer, die Vermieterin sehr nett. Bei unserer Ankunft warteten schon die wichtigsten Lebensmittel auf uns, was uns sehr gefreut hat! FĂŒr sechs Erwachsene war die Wohnung etwas eng, was uns nicht gestört hat, da wir sowieso die ganze Zeit auf der Terrasse, im Garten und am Meer verbrachten! Sehr zu empfehlen!

Wohnung leider SEHR enttÀuschend!

Wir waren im Juli 2022 GĂ€ste in der "Villa". Die Wohnung ist fĂŒr den Preis absolut enttĂ€uschend. Generell ist das Objekt "mĂŒde", es wurde seit Jahrzehnten nichts mehr investiert. Die Insel selbst ist wunderschön, das Wasser ist klar und sauber. Leider sind die KieselstrĂ€nde im Sommer sehr voll und extrem unbequem. Das Wandern um die Insel ist absolut zu empfehlen, man kann viel entdecken! Unsere EnttĂ€uschung gilt der Wohnung / Privatstrand, die Insel selbst ist ein SchmuckstĂŒck.

Einmalig!

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Woche mit unseren drei jugendlichen Kindern. Die Wohnung mit Blick auf die Bucht, authentischer Einrichtung und schönen AussenrĂ€umen befindet sich im 1. Stock und besitzt zwei Schlafzimmer und ein Wohnzimmer mit Sofabett und offener KĂŒche. Die Lage auf der Insel Palmaria direkt am Wasser ist einmalig - und die Umgebung traumhaft. Der Wanderweg rund um die Insel ist sehr empfehlenswert! Alles hat wunderbar geklappt. Wir wurden von Riccardo mit dem Boot abgeholt und fĂŒhlten uns von ihm super betreut. Tipp: Im Supermercato in Portovenere vor der ersten Überfahrt auf die Insel einkaufen.

Naturnahes Inselparadies

Das Appartement liegt auf einer Insel, die in der Nebensaison nur 1 Restaurant hat, das eigentlich von schönen Blick auf die gegenĂŒberliegende Bucht lebt. Kein BĂ€cker. Kein Supermarkt. Und Abends auch recht viee KĂ€fer (und einige Moskitos, hielt sich mmn aber noch im Rahmen). Da nun bereits alle luxusverwöhnten Spa-Urlauber wissen, das dies nichts ist, an die eigentliche Klientel dieser vertrĂ€umten Villa: Traumhafte Vegetation, Meeresrauschen am Fenster, eine Terrasse mit atemberaubenden Blick auf Portovenere. Eine Runde um die Insel dauert ca. 2h, das Fort hatte im Oktober leider nicht mehr offen. Die Öffnungszeiten waren nirgends herauszufinden, weder vor Ort noch im Internet - gleiches gilt fĂŒr den seltsamen FĂ€hrfahrplan, der öfter als auf dem Plan fuhr aber halt auch nicht immer, ein Tag war halt mal ne Viertelstunde mehr per Tape drĂŒbergeklebt. Das Appartement bietet viel Platz, ist komplett ausgestattet (SpĂŒlmaschine, Waschnaschine, BĂŒgeleisen, eine Art Mixer, allerlei KĂŒchenutensilien, Staubsauger, Putzmittel, Basis Lebensmittel wie z.B. Salz Föhn, BĂŒcher, StrandSpielzeug, Strandschirm, SAT Fernseher, Teelichter, ...) Fast wie daheim, wenn dochmal was nötig ist. Sehr nett war der Wassertaxi Service von Roberto, danke nochmals fĂŒr die nette Hilfe mit dem GepĂ€ck und die tolle Bootstour, die wir bei ihm gebucht hatten! Auch das Auto lĂ€sst sich dort fĂŒr reativ gĂŒnstiges Geld abstellen (das kostet in Italien ja bekanntermassen in kleinen Orten). Der Garten ist komplett eingezĂ€unt, was toll fĂŒr unseren Hund war. Es gibt eine [Warmwasser] Aussendusche. Einzig das Internet macht keine Freude, es reicht fĂŒr Mails und WhattsApp aber Netflix ist wohl eher grenzwertig. Aber wer braucht das schon bei einem der schönsten SonnenuntergĂ€nge der Welt - aus dem Haus raus 300m links den Weg entlang und man hat die schönste Sicht auf Portovenere bei Sonnenuntergang (Wein bitte selbst mitnehmen - man ist dafĂŒr aber dann auch wirklich alleine)! Tipp: Wanderschuhe mitnehmen, es lohnt sich und man wird mit Postkartenmotiven belohnt. Cinque Terre war sebst in der Nebensaison noch voll, da gefiel uns Portovenere selbst besser :-) Danke fĂŒr alles - wir kommen gern wieder!

J’ai passĂ© une semaine au mois d’aout Avec mes enfants dans cette maison divisĂ©e en appartement sur l’ile De Palmaria . J’ai apprĂ©ciĂ© le calme et la vue de l’appartrment sur la mer , la proximitĂ© du site des cinq terres, les randonnĂ©es pĂ©destres sur l’ile. J’ai profitĂ© des espaces extĂ©rieurs : de la grande terrasse avec tout le nĂ©cessaire pour cuisiner Ă  l’exterieur, et du jardin avec la douche extĂ©rieur en contre-bas. Mais j’ai surtout beaucoup apprecie la gentillesse incroyable de la propriĂ©taire qui s’est souciĂ©e de notre bien ĂȘtre pendant tout le sĂ©jour, multipliant les actions pour rendre celui-ci plus agrĂ©able . Merci Ombretta pour cet Accueil et pour votre dĂ©vouement !
