Extremely dirty restroom, hairs everywhere and stained linen.

Recently stayed at the Comfort Suites. I've stayed here many times throughout my years growing up in Maine, seems run down now. Cleanliness was average, I guess I had thought from my previous experiences here that things would be relatively the same. Must be new ownership. Could use a deep clean, maybe even some renovation.

Room was ok... very noisy though. We were woken up to the next door neighbors loud argument. Pool and gym were closed, even though many hotels in the area have those services open with limitations. The breakfast-to-go was mediocre (to put it mildly). It consisted of 1 orange, 1 commercial looking muffin, 1 granola bar, 1 bottled water. We stayed 3 nights and 2 out of 3 oranges were damaged (moldy, spoiled). There are signs that say that people should wear face masks in common areas but this rule is not enforced. As a matter of fact, one guest was talking to the front desk lady about how Covid doesn’t kill people, with her face mask on her chin. I was happy to be checking out that day.

It was nice. Kool little breakfast on the go. Nice location. The beds were comfortable the room was a little dirty. Nothing too outrageous. Nice safe location.

Good value, good breakfast, pleasant staff. .........

Clean and efficient staff upon checking and keeping breakfast area restocked and clean. Great location and east to find late at night from airport.

Took them 4 to 5 times to get me my room. key didn't work 3 times so up and down to get the key fixed, got the room open by the 4th time by a maid in the hallway and there was only 1 bed in the room and I booked a room with 2 queen. So back down stairs to fix it. Pool was very cloudy, heavy dust on tissue box and in corners of the bathroom vanity. Needs a more detailed cleaning. Beds were a little hard but not horrible. Breakfast was great, plenty of options, coffee was good. had HBO which was a plus. Location is excellent to get around the area. There is also a Shaw's Supermarket very close by for drinks etc.

We stayed for 3 days from july 3rd to july 6th, if we actually had to spend more time here I feel the rating would be far lower. For pros, the continental breakfast is decent, staff is fairly friendly and the location is great. We were lucky to get a room facing away from the interstate which was great. As for cons, the rooms were dated, the bathroom was blah the caulking in the tub a mess. The mattresses were horribly firm and made for a pretty poor nights sleep. For our door to lock you literally had to slam it shut or else it could be simply opened. The building itself was clean but the fact that the map shows vending on each floor is very misleading as all snacks/drinks are only to be found by the front desk in the " shop" which for being a holiday week ead extremely bare consisting of a handfull of candy bars and a single bag of chips and for beverages there was a single can of mountain dew and then what appeared to be a case of walmart brand water. The stairs were neither labled or had sinage to direct one to their whereabouts. The pool was nothing like the photos, its much smaller and very dingy and not at all inviting. Overall I felt we spent an exuberant amount of money for this stay and I would likely be more dissatisfied if we weren't visiting family and had to spend more time in the hotel itself. The cost did not justify the amenities by a long shot in my opinion and we will be choosing a different hotel next time- one that is worth the price.

This hotel has a nice indoor pool for kids. Very close to town.

This property needs some major updating to match the price they charge.

They called to say my brother had left his meds in the room...…………...they are making an arrangement to send it to him and he will mail them a check.

Good breakfast, nice indoor pool, very comfortable, not far from Portland.

Convenient and a nice location close to downtown Freeport. We had the 2 queens and pull out twin of bed room which was nice and had a lot of space. The free breakfast was nice addition

Visiting the area for a week. Good and affordable hotel to stay in during our visit.

The first room we were given smelled like axe body spray. The hallway in that area did too. There was one lamp on the far side of the room that had no light bulb. Due to the smell, we asked for a different room. The second room had quite a bit of staining and the toilet paper roll was stained with a brown color. When I turned on the bathtub later that night the water was brown for a solid 2 minutes. I probably wouldn't have noticed if I had been using it as a shower, but running into a white bathtub the color was blatently obvious. We stayed at the Econolodge down the street a few nights before this. The room was smaller and the breakfast was smaller but for the cost difference, it was totally the better option.

nice and quiet place. staff was very friendly and helpful.

Enjoyed my stay during a quick visit to Freeport. No complaints. Reasonable fee for an overnight stay that included breakfast. Staff friendly, courteous. Room was comfortable, clean, quiet.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review of your recent stay with us. We apologize for the appearances during your most recent stay. We have had a change of ownership and it is a recent change so things should be looking better soon. We are doing our best to recover from a brief period of neglect and are working on making a lot of improvements. Most of the recent improvements are in spaces that are unseen to guests or not regularly noticed. We thank you for your years of loyalty and hope that you come back to visit again soon

Thank you for taking the time to write a review of your stay with us. I'm very sorry that this was your experience at our hotel and would like to apologize on behalf of our team for letting you down. Unfortunately we do not have the capability of having our pool open at this time. We have very limited staff available to ensure that the pool could be utilized fairly. We did have an issue with our oranges and thought we had picked through and only grabbed good fruit. Unfortunately given the volume of people we are serving, commercially manufactured foods are our only option. We will definitely try to make better options available. We have tried to enforce mask wearing with mixed results. I'm aware of the guest that you are talking about with the mask on her chin. We DO NOT share her beliefs about COVID and wished she was more mindful of other people's need for space.
