I stayed here almost 30 years ago and nothing has been updated. Rooms are antiquated and unappealing. Looks like they may have had bathfitters come in but the seams are falling apart. The TV is tiny. The floor in the bathroom slants. The train went by four or five times during the night and blasted its horn. My room overlooks a parking lot and bust street and the exterior stairs (yes, you walk up exterior stairs) go right by my window (as in you watch and hear people clomp up the stairs). You can walk to many places for meals and drinks. The staff was nice. The towels are good. There were hairs on my bedding (not mine). It feels like an old Motel 6. I first stayed here 30 years ago when I was introduced to my Lake Oswego in-laws for the first time and I returned for their celebration of life. Closure. it is time.
Second time staying here. Love the view and location. The train coming through blowing whistle is quite exciting. We’ll be back for 2 more nights and looking forward to our stay.
Charming hotel in a charming spot!! Lots of good restaurants within walking distance!
I liked it very much and will be back for sure. Very quiet and well insulated.

We are so sorry that our property didn't meet your expectations, and that you were disturbed by the train. We remodeled all the rooms in 2016, and have a variety of rooms and suites. All the rooms are accessible by the elevator and most rooms have a beautiful lake view with a deck. We apologize if the non-view room you reserved wasn't what you were hoping for. We sincerely hope you will stay with us again.
