Hilton Garden Inn Portland Airport

Wonderful experience at the Hilton Garden in at the Portland, Maine, airport. Lovely staff who were all very pleasant, helpful and made my stay a very nice one.

Just a quick overnight stay. I had to catch a very early flight. The one thing I downgraded was the hotel's WiFi. Internet access is very important to me when I travel and the hotel seemed to have blocked the hotspot on my cell phone. I didn't want to use the hotel's WiFi.

Room was large and clean. I had called in morning to ask about pool as grandkids were going to drive down with my son to drop me off....with plan to go swimming with me. Was told pool was open and no issue. Got there to discover pool had beeen closed for several days for maintenance and you needed to go to neighboring hotel to swim. Why lie??

I have stayed at this hotel numerous times to catch the first flight out of the airport. Each time I have not been disappointed. Clean room, reasonable rate and courteous staff. This past time I came in on a late flight and stayed until the next morning when my family could pick me up. When I arrived I called the hotel and within minutes the shuttle was waiting to take me to the hotel. Excellent service!

The hotel was very nice and the staff was great. The only issue I encountered is they messed up the bill and charged my card when the room was already paid for. A quick call after I discovered it had the issue resolved in less than a minute. It is so convenient I would stay there any time I had to leave early out of Portland Jetport.

Convenient to both the airport and the turnpike. A good choice for travelers.

I booked this hotel to be close to the airport, as I had an early morning flight. Where to start..the hallway was being vacuumed at 822 pm, sounded like a boweling alley was over my room, and the best part is that in the morning - the shuttle driver could not be found! Plus the desk person didn't seem to care - I was in the lobby for over 10 minutes while the desk person kept calling the driver!, thankfully a guest checking out offered me a ride to the airport (I could have walked but it was 4am! and raining). I will not stay at this hotel again...too much money for the lack of services I received.

The hotel is clean, staff friendly and quiet all the things I look for in a hotel

Although it was only a 1 night stay everything about it was great. We were guest of the day which came with a few extras. We wish we were staying in your hotel in North charleston, this one doesn't compare.

Great stay as always, love the proximity to the airport.

We chose this hotel for its location to the airport. The room was comfortable, the staff extremely friendly. When we arrived there was a sign I was the guest of the day which came with free breakfast and a free evening appetizer, unfortunately our flight was too early for breakfast. We were able to pay a small fee $50 to park our car there during our trip. They took us to the airport and picked us up on our return. Would stay there again and recommend to friends.

Very accomodating upon arrival. I was there for one night, The room was very clean. I did not try dining facilities. I had car pickup at airport and car transfer to the airpot the following morning. All employees were friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel.

All of the staff were friendly and helpful. We unfortunately didn't receive the e-mail regarding construction going on at the hotel. As a result of the work, stairways and elevators were blocked off, Jack hammers were going, the lobby bathroom was not available for use and you could not sit in the lobby to visit . The pool was also closed. We were in Maine for a very big event and had planned to have family get together at the hotel for visiting. We finally couldn't put up with the noise and had to change hotels.

My husband and I stayed here for a weekend away from Boston. It was significantly cheaper than the hotels 'downtown,' and only a few miles away! Parking in the city was no problem at all. It was within walking distance to the airport, but we could not hear the planes. The next time I stay in Portland, this will be my first choice!

Our stay was wonderful, the room was comfortable, clean and spacious. The hotel staff went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect.

I travel quite extensively all over the country for my speaking engagements and have stayed in many hotels costing a lot more (double to triple what this one charged) that offered far inferior service, accommodations and amenities. This hotel was immaculately clean, including the lobby, hallways, and especially the room. The hotel appears to be brand new. Even the business center was spotless. Its location was perfect for the early-morning flyer (as I am frequently). The room, including the bed, was one of the most comfortable in which I had ever stayed. The staff was extremely polite and accommodating. Example: On check-in I mentioned that I wanted to go into downtown Portland for dinner. After getting settled in my room, about an hour later, he called me in my room and asked if I still wanted to go into Portland as he was preparing to shuttle a couple into Portland to catch dinner and a show. I was actually impressed that he remembered who I was and that I had mentioned it on checking in. I went downstairs and he took us into Portland. After eating and taking my own walking tour of the Old Port section of town, I called for a pickup and he arrived in about 15 minutes. On checkout, I was floored at the LOW price for the stay - less than half of what I paid for the previous night's stay. Despite being across the street from PWM, airplane noise is minimal. The only reason for 4/5 stars on amenities is the lack of a spa (facials, massages, etc.), which is important to some people (not me). This hotel did, however, have a very nice whirlpool and all of its other amenities (e.g. fitness center, etc.) were on par with the rest of the hotel. If I ever return to Portland I will DEFINITELY stay there again.

nice clean room. comfortable bed. clean bathroom. nice facility. very close to the airport.

Clean, quiet, convenient

noisy, unplugged lights and an almost dead remote for the TV give this stay a lower mark than usual. The noise was the worst part. Elephants above and slamming doors. The room was very clean and the desk clerks were very friendly.

right next to airport
