I’ve stayed at the Portland Harbor Hotel a few times and have loved my stats. Clean hotel and rooms, friendly staff, and suburb location. Walking distance to everything, but still quiet when you need a good nights rest. Highly recommend.

Great location, beautiful property and friendly staff. However, our room was located near a street bar/ club that played extremely loud music until about 2am.
The hotel was in a perfect location to walk the Old Port with all of its restaurants and shopping. Each floor had a "pantry" with snacks, coffee, tea and seltzer. Our room was extremely small - looked nothing like the photos on the website of the type of room we reserved. It was also quite noisy due to other guests.
Nothing special did not justify the price per night felt like a marriot courtyard.

Here’s the good and bad for an honest review. So this hotel wasn’t BAD, but the experience wasn’t what I anticipated at the price point. There was nothing horrible, but for the price point I would make a different selection next time. At nearly $500 a night I just expected things to be a bit more refined. See the pros and cons below for more detail: Pros: great location- very walkable Room was generally quite comfortable- ac worked very well, comfortable seating, desk and armoire were very helpful Staff was friendly Rapid valet service Quick check in and out Bed was comfortable Secure elevators- but very, very slow Cons: What appeared to be drops of blood on a pillow case- which was gross Shower handle was broken and kept drifting downward resulting in scalding right in the middle of washing my hair Toilet that ran all night long Pillows were NOT good- different sizes, flat, worn out. Free Coffee was actually pretty bad Didn’t dine in dining room- so no feedback there.

Loved the hotel! Only two things I didn't like: (1) the shower did not drain properly, so you are standing in 2 inches of dirty water and so it also partially floods the bathroom floor, and (2) they won't let you pay directly for your food and drinks at their restaurant, you have to "charge" it to your room, and so I had a $298 pre-authorization amount tied up on my bank account for a week AFTER my bill was already paid in full (hotel and restaurant). Other than those two things, it was absolutely amazing!!
