Good location near downtown. Felt safe enough and did not worry about the area
The bathroom is very spacious and the shower worked very well. Good selection of cable channels on tv. Room was clean, as was the bed. However, I had a bottom floor room, and I could hear lots of noises from the upstairs room. There is little noise from streetcars but the construction quality of the building is such that sleep quality can be very poor.
Needed conditioner for my hair not just shampoo. Other than that the room was perfect! Bed comfortable, smell of room great, bathroom clean, water hot, nice friendly staff! I recommend.
Good value: free Wi-Fi and continental breakfast. Easy access to downtown.
Very nice location downtown Portland and close to psu
As other reviewers have said, the hotel offers basic amenities, but my room was comfortable, clean, and extremely well laid out. It was also very quiet. An excellent base when in Portland. Very good experience.
Nothing fancy here. But the location is on the fringe of Portland State University and is a welcome addition for traveling students, parents, or anyone else looking for a reasonable place to stay in an otherwise "high rent" district. A row of food carts across the way adds local color as well as exotic, tasty meals. And it's right near a trolley stop that gives access to Portland's amazing public transportation system.
Clean, neat, comfortable, with excellent control of the room temperature. Well located for my conference at PSU, and near public transit.
Parking is $10 extra per night. The room was clean, updated, comfortable. It was quiet considering proximity to the freeway. The free breakfast opens late and is quite modest. There are a few dining options within a few blocks' walk, and a small group of food trucks across the street provide an all-day aroma.
Nice place to stay close to Downtown Portland without paying a lot. Very friendly and helpful staff, clean room, very comfortable bed, had a coffeemaker, microwave and fridge in my room. Air conditioner worked great but was a little noisy. I liked the free continental breakfast consisting of coffee, tea, hot chocolate, orange juice, bagels, white or whole wheat toast, butter, jam, cream cheese, bananas, apples, and 2 types of muffins.
Can't beat this location, walking distance to parks, downtown, and river. Trolley and buses about a block away, Food carts across the street....with great food. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Comfortable room , mine had granite shower and counter, frig, microwave, coffee maker, also, good free breakfast offered, Soda and deli foods with other shopping right across the street. Surprisingly quiet location, with fine dining nearby.
I noticed that the hotel was not very clean, which was disappointing. I ended up cleaning the bathroom myself so I would feel comfortable. Also, due to my flight being very early, an early checkout was refused to me, and I was told the reception desk would be locked in the morning until 7 am (which was when my flight was due to board). So I never did get to check out.
This hotel was really clean and prett quiet. I could hear some of the traffic outside btu it wasn't too bad. I found the manager very pleasant and helpful.
the mangers(I think) were rude. they charged 10 dollars a night for parking rrfused to let me park and unload unless I paid them 10 dollars. I will not ever stay here again. I believe I was over charged but didn't dispute it with them I was so glad to leave the place
