We spent two nights at the Captain Fairfield. So relaxing! Shay was so welcoming and so was Jamie. We loved the variety of choices at breakfast and Shay was able to accommodate my food allergy. Loved the fireplace in our room too. The village was only a 5 minute walk from the Captain Fairfield. They also have off street parking. I highly recommend!

Sunshine and smiles. Wonderful tapas style breakfast options. Shared common spaces well appointed including outside gas firepits for chilly evenings. Very comfortable beds and best quality linen. Highly recommended for any visiors to Kennebunkport.

Very nice small B & B hotel close to town in Kennebunkport. Comfortable rooms, nicely maintained, very pleasant helpful owners and staff. Nice little breakfast. Easy walk to town, with lots of restaurants close by. Good for couples romantic stay.

Our stay at the Captain Fairfield Inn was wonderful! Sarah and Anthony were perfect host and helped with anything we needed. Breakfast had multiple choices for everyone. I especially enjoyed sitting at the firepits on the cool evenings, it was so peaceful. The Lark Suite was beautiful and cozy and the perfect distance to walk to downtown Kennebunkport.

Our stay at the Captain Fairfield Inn was just perfect. The innkeepers, Sarah and Anthony (and the other staff we met) were so friendly and warm, and you can tell how hard they work to make the guest experience enjoyable. The Inn is spotlessly clean and the grounds are beautiful. The breakfast in the morning is simply amazing with many tasty, creative choices. We took advantage of many of the amenities, from the beach towels and chairs, the coffee and tea bar, the daily fresh baked chocolate chip cookies, and the wine bottle selections available (which were reasonably priced). The fire pits outside were cozy and we were just lucky that all the hydrangea trees were in full bloom while we sat by the fire at night. The Inn was a quiet and restful retreat, just the right distance from the busy downtown area. We had to leave extra early on our last day, missing breakfast but found muffins and kind note left for us outside our room to see us off. We would definitely stay again at the Fairfield - we highly recommend this B & B.

Clean, safe, convenient (walking distance to shopping area) but NOT reasonably priced. $$$ Full breakfast was very good. Our total bill was $369 for ONE night! We never pay that much, but booked only about a week before, & Inn looked enticing so decided to splurge 😩

This was our first experience with a B and B and we defintily picked the right place. From the minute we arrived Sara and Anthony made us feel welcome and at home. They are incredibly accommodating and helped us out with whatever we needed. The outside grounds had fire pits ,which Sara set up early in the evening ,adirondack chairs and outdoor sofas for relaxing and plenty of sunshine. The breakfast was incredible, everything home made, from breads, small omelets ,french toast and the best coffee always available, beach passes, chairs and towels were made available. It was a lovely experience and we look forward to going back. also, the location was perfect for walking to all the quaint stores and restaurants. Parking was provided as well.

Let me start by saying I have stayed in B&B's from Spain , to Brewster Massachusetts, and at a certain point quaint and artsy becomes old and warn out . In desperate need of make over . I stayed there this weekend (8/16-8/18/19) , sat out by the firepit for an hour Saturday night and nobody even uncovered it . The steam from the shower made the old shower curtain smell like mildew , and I tripped over the old curling throw rugs a dozen times or so . The only saving grace was the staff is super nice , but my buyers regret for $500 is overwhelming for what I experienced . The fair price for what I experienced is $250 a night or LESS , not the $500 a night I paid .Also pick a place to eat breakfast after breakfast .

The bed was very comfortable. However, I don't like window AC units - very loud. Strange decor a mix of 1950's art deco and colonial charm. They need to stick with the charm and ditch the white "plastic" end tables. Staff was lovely and location terrific.

Was traveling back from Bar Harbor, and wanted to spend a night in Southern Maine. Decided to try Kennebunkport, and the Captain Fairfield Inn. Sarah and Anthony were very welcoming upon arrival and the Inn is quite nice. Great backyard to lounge. Liked the choices in the honor-bar. Room very well maintained. And Inn was clean and pleasant. Small comments on the cons side (making my review Very Good rather than Excellent)...breakfast, I didn't care for peppers, so the hot choice for the meal was a Denver Omelet. Wish they had a few choices without peppers. The AC in the room worked, but didn't get as cold as we would have preferred. As much as we lowered it, maybe since it was a window unit, it had it's limitations. And lastly, the bed mattress seemed a bit dated. Otherwise, a delightful stay. If in the area again, like the location as quite near to town and easy walk to shops and restaurants.
