Wonderful location

My family from different areas of the United States and from France spent Christmas here. This is a wonderful location – the house was incredibly clean and well appointed and conveniently located. I would say that sleeping 16 was a little bit challenging with the number of actual bedrooms/private spaces available, but we made it work!

Amazing Stay!

Everything about the property was truly amazing. Large, stunning home with great outdoor features like a large pool and dock onto a saltwater canal. The home was large enough that everyone had enough space to spread out and relax. The owners have thought of everything… from beach towels, toys to toiletries and appliances. Amazing property!

Great Multifamily Getaway

We had a great time swimming in the pool and fishing and crabbing in the canal behind the house. The nearby park was great! Played basketball, walked on the beach, and caught some nice trout and mangroves off the pier. We even got to see a sawfish! There is something here for everyone.

Spring break

Three families of friends. Our high school seniors loved the beach/park access for swimming, pickleball, beach VB, basketball. Our pool was a wonderful temperature. There is everything you need at the home! From kitchen to coolers, beach wagons to umbrellas! Everything was well planned out by owners.

Charlotte House

This home was exactly as described on the site. Upon arriving we were very impressed with the accommodations and the amenities that were offered. If you are looking for a spacious home in a lovely quiet area, this is the place for you. We wanted to spend quality time with our family with no agenda or schedule. This home had everything that allowed us to do that. We prepared many meals in the well stocked kitchen. The pool was the kid's favorite place to be. The lanai was a great gathering space. We were able to kayak in the canal and were visited by dolphins. The kids loved catching crabs. The beach across the way was nice, but they are many beaches within driving distance to collect shells and shark teeth. We had a few minor problems but Jennafer took care of them quickly. She is a great host! I can guarantee that you will not be disappointed if you choose to vacation at the Charlotte House. Jeff & Dani Wisconsin

Spacious well stocked home

Our family enjoyed the home in Charlotte! Our family took turns cooking all our meals in the house, so the well stocked kitchen worked out great for us! The spacious sitting areas inside and out were very comfortable for games, tv and reading. Our weather was seasonally cool, so the sheltered lanai and heated pool was well used. The close proximity of the beach, pier, and park was great for our family; we enjoyed walking, biking and kayaking around the neighborhood. The pier and dock were great for fishing.

Perfect for our extended family.

This house is great for coming together and for giving people their own space. The area is especially attractive for boat owners. There is a place to dock right out back. The pool was heated as promised and there is a large deck area and sectional Sofa for lounging. The near-by Beach park overlooks Charlotte Harbor and offers recreational activities. There is a small beach but some travel is required for the expansive southwest Florida beaches on the Gulf. We were very impressed with the restaurant choices in Punta Gorda, which is very important to our foodie family. Jennafer was a great communicator and host. We had a great stay over Christmas 2023!

Awesome family vacay!

West Florida Vacations was an awesome choice for our annual family vacation. The home was very well stocked, clean and Oh My at the space. We are a family of all age groups and everyone was extremely pleased. An amazing vacation in an amazing home!

Fantastic stay in a beautiful home

We absolutely loved our stay here. It was a great spacious home with tons of amenities, well stocked of all the things needed - pool toys, towels, bikes, wagon, well equipped kitchen. We loved the location near the park and down a quiet road at the end of a cul-de-sac. The patio, pool, dock were fantastic and beautiful view of the water, the mangroves across the way. We loved that the screened in patio/pool wasn't on- the view was great this way! Jennefir was great to work with and communicate. She's on top of it all. We'd love to return!

Great spot for familes!

We booked this house with family for spring break. The house was perfect and very clean. It had more than enough room for each family. It was nice that every family also had their own bathroom. I was thrilled to see there were fans in the closet when I realized I forgot mine. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed and then some. When you don't want tk cook, order a pizza and have it delivered right to the house. The pool was perfect and every one enjoyed it. The kids fished on the dock and enjoyed the kayaks. We saw dolphins swim pass multiple nights. I would reccomend trying the food at the Twisted Fork. We did the short drive to Casperan Beach and successfully found a good amount of shark teeth. We drove down so we were able to bring along most of what we needed, but this would be a perfect house to rent if you fly. There is everything there that you could need for a perfect beach day. The kids also enjoyed riding the bikes. The area is safe and very quiet. If you are looking for a nice house to rent with other families to get together this is it. I give this property a 10/10 and can't think of anything additional it needs.

Great place for large families

We stayed for a week over Christmas with our adult children and enjoyed having a bedroom for each person and a large common area to share time together. This is a great place to stay for large or multigenerational families. We were able to cook meals in the kitchen each night, eat in the family room, and then watch movies or play cards together. There were two large televisions in two spaces, so we have two groups if they wanted to watch different things. Our daughter enjoyed kayaking up the canal and around the bay. We were able to catch blue-claw crabs off of the dock with the trap provided. We found the owners very responsive when we called to ask questions.

Excellent Location and Comfortable House

We had an extended family of 10 meet here for the week of Thanksgiving. We chose to keep the reservation despite Hurricane Ian hitting the area 8 weeks prior. The house, fortunately, had minimal damage that we were able to easily work around. The house was very clean and easily accommodated 3 families with kids from ages 6 to 21. We planned to prepare most meals at the house, and the kitchen was great! We also greatly enjoyed the pool, fishing off the dock, taking the bikes for rides in the neighborhood and to the nearby park/beach, and kayaking around the channels. The owner was very responsive when I had a few last minute questions. Definitely recommend this location for a comfortable getaway with family and friends.
