The house was very clean and decorated beautifully. The kitchen was stocked with everything that you would need to cook. The host answered our 1 question that we had very quickly. David responded quickly to my texts and his check in instructions and house rules were very clear and easy to follow. I appreciated the thoroughness of the instructions. The house was very clean and kitchen utensils, cookware and dishes all well stocked. We truly enjoyed the on-the-beach experience using the deck every day! The house was well decorated and furnished. This location is on our radar for another visit.

We had a wonderful, low-key stay at this beach house. The home was very clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. The balcony was my favorite spot — perfect for morning coffee and evenings watching the waves. We even spotted dolphins and enjoyed a little people-watching while listening to the ocean. The views were beautiful and truly made it feel like a getaway.Mosquitoes were a nuisance, especially around dusk and when there’s little wind, mainly on the lower level and at the beach. Just come prepared with bug spray and light clothing to cover up.This is a great place to unwind. Pack your clothes, food, and toiletries — everything else is taken care of. Amazing views, relaxing atmosphere, and toes in the sand. We would definitely stay again.

Our stay was amazing. The house was absolutely perfect as pictured. Just a few steps from the beach is a big plus. We stayed September 18-21 and had the beach all to ourselves. Everything about the house felt like home. I highly recommend staying here. David the host is very friendly. Just book it and you will not be sorry

Wonderful Time

We had a great time being right on the beach. House was clean and spacious so we weren’t cramped in. Took the ferry to Galveston and a little shopping. Everyone enjoyed the ferry ride. David was on top of things when we had an issue in the kitchen. Really enjoyed staying at Shore Beats Work.

Shore Beats Work did not disappoint. Fantastic location right on the beach and a very nice house. Only issue was the mosquitos, but there was even a warning to come prepared with bug spray in the check in instructions! My family had a fantastic time this was just the break we needed. Thank you David!

Every thing was as advertised. Views were wonderful and the beach is a few steps away. House was awesome. Air conditioning worked really well and we always had plenty of hot water. I’ll stay there again in the near future

All in 4 nights and 1/2 day stay!

Great vacation and loved being at beachside nearest to gulf. Semi-Privateness of beach was a plus also. Kids enjoyed beach boards and shell searching. Also ferry to Galveston and attractions there as well as restaurants there in Port Bolivar/Crystal Beach. Groceries handy at the Big Store and Dollar General. Loved seeing Pelicans and Seagulls fly over on the front deck and TVs in evening at bedtime. Kids loved feeding the birds bread and donuts! Comfortable rental and would like to return some day! Also 2 of our party did a fishing tour in gulf and we went on Dolphin Boat Tour with the children in Galveston - great for all!

The property itself was clean and you had most everything you could possibly need. The beds were comfortable and the AC worked well. It also passed the clorox wipe test as I always wipe everything down when we check in anywhere and so that was impressive. BUT the sheets.....they smelled clean but they were stained and that is an ick for me. I had a Super 8 flashback from when I was a kid but this is not super 8 pricing so the sheets need an upgrade but otherwise good.
