Disappointing

The property is large and spacious. The floors were not clean. Cobwebs on furniture inside and out. Furniture is very dated and uncomfortable as per previous reviews. There are screws falling off the kitchen chairs. If the owner would update the furniture inside and out it would be perfect. The outside bins were both full. Overall, for the money we paid it was disappointing.

Spacious and well equipped

Big spacious house for a family and extended family to stay. The furniture is very dated and some are dirty looking. Overall, a good stay but furniture can be improved.

Fabulous House and location

The house is a great size. We had family staying x 5 and the accommodation was top class. wanted for nothing. Pet friendly too which was also great. Recommend this property if you are staying in the Hunter Valley. Central to everything.

House was very nice,big and very suitable for people interested in the vineyards and playing golf. However I wouldn’t recommend it if you have young children especially toddlers, too many things down at their level that were not safe ie the microwave

Poor value for money

When you are charging luxury stay rates the property needs to be appointed as such. The furnishings were old and the house was bare overall, no lamps, pictures or paintings or rugs. Furnishings were old and mismatched with throws to hide damage and distress. Cheap bedside lamps didn’t work. Crockery was cheap and insufficient, eg no side plates and only glasses/dinnerware for 6 people in a four bedroom house. Old hand wash bottles were refilled with horrible industrial smelling soap. Very disappointing.

While the house was clean the furniture was a big disappointment at 850 per night I think you can afford new furniture

Great space!

We were a group of 3 couples with babies, and the space suited us perfectly. Lots of space for each family. Great kitchen and BBQ. Easy drive to the local wineries.

Location and space

Really great location within the Hunter Valley. Only a 5-10 minute drive from all the great attractions. The house provides plenty of space and is quite modern. There were a few maintenance issues at the house but I assume it’s been a busy period and they haven’t had time yet. Really great family holiday! The staff were friendly with all my questions and the place was very clean. Great facilities as there was a bbq and coffee machine! There’s access to a resort pool which was fantastic! Really loved our stay!

Lovely location

Great size rooms and comfortable beds and ample space. Outdoor furniture wasn’t the cleanest and sofas inside could do with an update as they slide very easily on the tile surface. Overall an enjoyable stay in a great location
