Fulbari is surprising as you enter the gates to this resort. It is completely unique to the rest of the luxury hotels in Pokhara or anywhere else in Nepal. Staff are amazingly responsive and lovely! All facilities are ahead of its time for when the resort was built. A lot of restoration is being done and I believe it would be even better. Highly recommended!
No doubt, its an amazing property spread over a large area and just besides a very deep gorge and excellent views of the machhapuchhre (fish-tail) mountain range. It has various conference and party halls and can accomodate good number of people. They can also arrange live music and private party in the garden/pool area. Few rooms just need some maintenance as we in large group found that AC's in a few rooms were not working upto mark plus small maintenance issues. Also note that this hotel is a bit far from central area like New Road and Lake Side. Overall, a value for money hotel.
I heard about the Fulbari resort long time ago. But I found opportunity to stay there only one day back. The location and territory of this resort is amazing. Huge compound along with natural atmospheres. Rooms are wide, lobby is full of cultural decorations , staffs are quite cooperative and full of hospitality. Foods are delicious. It was really a memorable stay for me and my family!!!
A resort with a wonderful infrastructure and a mesmerizing surrounding. An amazing getaway. Food was also delicious. The service could be a little better. But totally worth a stay. Would love to come back again !
We had a wonderful stay at the Fulbari Resort for our friend's wedding. The staff was quick and responsive, and they even arranged day trips for us from the Resort. The continental breakfast in the morning was great! We'd recommend this Resort to anyone visiting Pokhara.
It was mid January when I was in Kathmandu and my newly married wife was in Dhaka. Although I went to Pokhara two times before, I did not know the name of Fulbari Resort. It was my wife who insisted me to arrange everything at that resort to celebrate our honeymoon and first valentine day. She was informed about this resort from a popular media person of Bangladesh, Abdul Nur Tushar. Finally, we went there at 13 February 2017 after making advance booking through Sales Executive Shachin. In a word, this was an amazing trip. We enjoyed the huge resort surrounded by mountains, rivers and the pristine look nature. The manager Danny Sharpa was an excellent guy who assisted us all the possible ways. The hotel arranged some additional facilities for us to celebrate our honeymoon as well as valentine day, e.g. valentine cake, candle night dinner, bed decorated with flowers. The ladies and other waiters in charge for serving dinner are mind blowing. Apart from city hassles and bustles, the resort gave us a true tranquility and feeling of cultural originality/antiquity with its robust monumental establishments.
I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Fulbari Resort and Spa. The place is ideal for writers, designers, artists and nature lovers. The hotel is ideally located outside the hustle and bustle of Pokhara city and is not too far away from town. I specially liked the hanging restaurant at the edge of the resort. Its serenity gave me a feeling of a completely different experience of Pokhara. Its a completely different set up and one has to be here to experience the tranquility.
the place where we can touch the nature... the place where we can hug the mountains... the place where we can sing with birds... the place where we can play with river... the place where we can fly with clouds... the place where modern and Newar heritage merged...
I highly recommend coming to stay at such a tranquil place. It is surrounded by such beauty, very attentive staff, delicious food and a property full of such wonderful surprises - it is like something you would only see in a movie!
As an artist, I feel this Resort is one of the most amaging place for creation. Natural landscape, resort's panoramic view, peaceful environment, spacious rooms, friendly staffs, delicious nepali and continental foods highly recommended for all. I am also deeply intouched with the Newar architecture, Newar interiors and courtyards.
