We had the whole hotel and pool to ourselves. Very friendly staff.

I was very disappointed with the hotel. I did not feel safe since we were the only one's staying at the hotel for the first few days. There was no breakfast nor dinner until the 4th day of our stay. Once they started providing breakfast and dinner it was actually really good. My room was not swept nor moped. If I would have known that they did not provide a place for breakfast or dinner I would have not stayed there. Once they started cooking it was fine.

Our family just returned from spring break in Playa Grande. We had a fantastic time at this hotel! Our flight arrived late at night. And even though reception was already closed, a wonderful man named Santos met us there & let us into our room. It was a nice welcome after a long day of traveling. The location of this hotel was perfect! We walked back & forth to the beach all day long. The BEST surf shop & tour company was across the street. So we rented bikes, surfboards, boogie boards & booked a tour after we arrived. (No need to book it ahead of time) And we walked or rode our bikes around town to try all of the different restaurants. No car needed in this town! We stayed in the Villas which are just down the road from the main hotel ( & even closer to the beach than the hotel itself). There are four units that surround the pool area & each has a patio with a table & chairs. We ate meals & played games out on our patio in the shade. And we LOVED the pool- it was clean, refreshing, & had lounge chairs around it. The villa itself was perfect for a family of four. There is a bedroom downstairs with a king sized bed & a queen sized bed up in the loft. There was an air conditioning unit downstairs, another one upstairs & also fans throughout. It had a little kitchen which we used to prepare sandwiches & used the fridge for drinks. But we never did any major cooking there because there are several good restaurants nearby.

This is a small botique like hotel. It is in a very relaxed area, not too developed, and focused mostly on surfing.

This hotel is a little smaller than the photos lead you to believe. The staff is very friendly and it's clean. They have a small bar and kitchen and breakfast is free. The air conditioning worked very well, which was nice during the summer.
