The hotel is very beautiful and clean. It’s central located within walking distance to plenty of bars, restaurants, shops and the beach is directly behind the hotel. Views from the suite room was beautiful. The staff were wonderful and very helpful. When I check in I was upgrade to the suite. Pool bar and area is beautiful & the bartender was very nice. There’s a DJ in the afternoon at the pool area. Good from the hotel restaurant was delicious. Definitely still here when I visit again.

About as close to the beach as possible. Great view of sunrise from our hotel room balcony. Excellent restaurants located nearby. I specifically chose this hotel because it is within walking distance to the Cozumel ferry - actually 10 minutes away on the beach.
What a terrific place! The staff was warm, attentive and helpful. The rooms were beautiful, clean and the balcony looked right over the ocean. The restaurant associated to the Beach house was wonderful as well. The beachfront location and the location to 5th avenue(main shopping, restaurants etc was a block away. I would absolutely recommend the Thompson Beach House and plan a stay next time.( side note; must not miss The Museum of Natural Wonders. (Large 3 dimensional frescoes that you can take the coolest selfies) 2 block away
Beautiful place, beautiful location, and beautiful staff. Unfortunately I was sick the entire time (flu) and they were so attentive to me. Sent me ginger tea, plenty of ice and fluids - they were fantastic. Hopefully someday I can have a do-over!
The rooms are very nice, and kept clean. The staff was amazing, from front desk to bartenders and waitstaff. The only negative was there was a lot of seaweed during the stay..however that is not the resorts fault. Overall this is a really nice cute hotel.
This hot meet my expectations. When I tell you all this hotel looks exactly like the pictures. It really a very quite place so if you are looking for a party this is not a hotel for but if you are looking for quietness and relaxation this is the perfect place. It is right on the beach. The drinks from the bar are a reasonable price also.

The hotel is chic urban yet on the ocean with beautiful views. The staff is fantastic, the rooms are clean and very confortable. The food and cocktails are excellent. It is really as good as it gets if you want to stay in Playa del Carmen. We stayed a week and enjoyed every day of it. The hotel next door got noisy a couple of nights during our stay but the staff brought us some ear plugs in less than a few minutes. Great stay. Christian was fantastic.

We enjoyed our stay at the Thompson Beach House. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. It is a great location for visiting 5th avenue. The beach is small but we preferred the oversized "beds" around the pool. It is nice to have the ability to use their "sister" property a few blocks away. The rooms are very nice. We gave the score of 3 on room comfort not based on interior facilities of the room but on the noise outside. There is construction next door that makes it somewhat difficult to sleep in, if desired. Construction begins around 8am and was still going on at 8pm....every day except Sunday. Obviously, this noise will cease at some point. We also found the poolside music to be quite loud late into the evening. The music provides a great vibe and atmosphere during the day but I would simply recommend starting the music no earlier than 10am and turning off at 10pm. Despite this, I would recommend staying here!
