Clean and Comfortable Hotel

We had a one-night stay at this hotel, the staff was friendly and accommodating. Our room was non-smoking, king size bed, coffee and tea in the room, microwave, flat-screen TV, hair dryer, ironing board and iron, comfortable mattress, pleasant room, and clean. A continental breakfast is offered between 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM and has a variety of scrambled eggs, hash browns, breads, muffins, danishes, cereals, waffles, juices, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate.

Nice stay.

This hotel is a little hidden off a main road. We've stayed here 3 times this past winter to ski, its a 20-25 minute drive to Butternut, but its a lot cheaper than staying in Great Barrington. Its very well priced for the quality of stay. Our stay was quiet, the room was clean and decor was updated and the staff is very pleasant. Breakfast was included. It was formerly a Comfort Inn, and rumored to become a Holiday Inn.

Overall great for the price: clean, good location.

This place was perfect for a nice getaway with my girlfriend. The room was clean, the shower had great pressure and plenty of hot water, and the staff was very accommodating. Only 25 mins from Jiminy Peak where we went skiing one day and lots of good nearby restaurants. Can't beat this place for the price, we will be staying here again.

Efficient, convenient, clean, super good VFM

Father and 11 year old stayed the night, friends (mom, granny and 14 year old ) stayed in another room. Service efficient, customer friendly, rooms good size, warm, clean bathroom, location close to everything, ski hill, shopping large, great restaurant right in front of inn. Cannot imagine better value for money anywhere. Even the breakfast was laid out early and quite sumptuous . Highly recommended .

Be careful in winter.

Everything was good except for the ice on the front entrance. Very little effort was made to melt the ice even though the bucket of "ice melt" was right there. Saw one person slip and fall on his back.

One night for a quick stay

A group of 10 of us stayed for 1 evening in the hotel, as we had a show to perform the next day. It was accessible by the road easily,though the driveway was a little icy and not sanded (drive up a hill to get to the parking lot). The lobby is small and plain, however nothing sub standard. Chairs and tables and a few couches to sit, use of a computer. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms we used had double beds, very large. The room was clean, crisp. It wasn't flashy or decadent, but a nice clean and fresh smelling place that gets the job done.

We needed an overnight stay. This was an excellent choice - quiet, clean, comfortable, good location. Hot breakfast makes for an easy early start. Staff was friendly and helpful. Free Wi-Fi. With the building set back from the road, the driveway entrance is a bit hard to see, but once identified (next to a car dealership), is easy to remember. I would return to this establishment.

Neat, Clean for the price

I have stayed a many of the equivalently price hotels in the area and this one is by far the best. It is a clean, neat hotel. The staff is nice. The fact that they have free wifi what works is an added bonus.

Pleasantly pleased

Just needed a short layover and were pleasantly surprised. For the money you could not beat it. Room was nice and clean, bed comfy and lots of pillows. Hot breakfast was a nice start. The only negatives was the breakfast nook was pretty small but the overly nice staff made up for it

Decent, conveniently located hotel for great price

The hotel was conveniently located on the main road to Pittsfield, and just an hour or two early, we were allowed to check in anyway. The size of the room was fine, and it was nicely appointed with a king bed (with clean linens), a desk with a chair, two nightstands, a dresser/TV stand and an easy chair. The TV, which had a vast number of channels, worked with no trouble, and there was free Wi-Fi. The shower was hot, and toiletries were provided. While we didn't partake of the free breakfast due to our special dietary needs, it appeared to be well stocked with fruit, pastries, cereal, milk, juice and coffee or tea. We got a great deal for the room on Expedia, and I would highly recommend this hotel for its price. It's nothing fancy, but it's clean and convenient with very nice staff. Next time we go up to visit our family in the Berkshires, we will likely stay in this same hotel, as it was everything we needed without all the fluff (and cost) of some of the fancier hotels.
