The drain of the bath tub was blocked so water was running very, very slowly. The room was no. 623.
Great location for downtown Pittsburgh. We've stayed at this location a few times over the last 10+ years and each time has been great customer service, clean room, and comfortable beds. Only issue was the tub drain was a bit backed up when taking a shower.
Not sure what the Green idea achieved for the customer. Shuttle service made the location good for our convention and to see the city. Shuttle driver very nice (Tim?). Linda at Front Desk very helpful; maid very nice about telling me about room and making sure it was ready upon my return. Room not ready upon arrival but I was given the key. The maid came in to apologize that she had made beds but had not finished room (I hadn't had time to notice). She said she had called down to desk when she was surprised to see me enter the room with a key while she was in the hall. I was leaving anyway to not a problem but think you'd want to QA. Well appointed room. Wondered if the AC was really working but didn't call to ask. Just never seemed to cool even with temperature adjustments. I'm usually cold at 73-74 degrees but even at 69, not cranking cool air. Room 1430.
good location, room needed some maintenance workers were nice
Very nice hotel, clean and modern. We loved the restaurant onsite, Bills Burgers. Great food and great service. Nice location of the hotel, lots to do within walking distance.
The hotel was nice but the rooms are very outdated, especially for the price. The staff was very nice. The hotel elevator was a bit tricky and high tech...for a video guy that is very different to be confused. The parking garage was way too expensive....$60 for 2 days.
Staff was so great hotel was awesome had a great view from our room the shower and bed was great awesome experience
Lackluster accommodations but great location. Staff seemed to lack knowledge of area.
Perfect!!! Loved it and was so nice! Would stay again
Very nice, convenient location. Clean, friendly workers
The Westin in downtown Pittsburgh worked very well for us as visiting football fans for a weekend. The lobby is nice, and the staff were very patient, informative, and helpful. My room was clean and was kept very clean. The location is perfect in regards to the sports venues. It is in a nice spot of town and only about a 15 minute walk to the stadium across the bridge. Enjoyed our stay, as well as the Original Fish Market Restaurant located inside. Would recommend.
Perfectly fine, clean room, good location in downtown Pittsburgh, friendly staff. Certainly the cost is a price-gauge on a big sports weekend but that's supply and demand. One complaint is not enough elevators - very hard to get downstairs at busy times and had to walk.
The Westin proved exceptionally clean and convenient for our week-end to catch the Pirates play at PNC Park. Much cheaper week-end parking exists in nearby lots however.
Great Hotel and close to everything for Sporting Events.
The Westin is in a great location and looks really nice. But overall it was a little blah. The other thing that was annoying was that the room was about 86 degrees when I walked into it. That's right 86! It was like a sauna! Other than that, it was okay. It would have been nice to have free wi-fi, but for one night it was good enough.
I enjoyed the whole hotel experience. Paying for parking should be included the price of the room. $20 for 24 hours. Come On!!! The room was comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful. And we walked to our concert. Got to love it!!!!
My son and I stayed in the Westin Convention Center....The staff was great. When we arrived at noon our room was ready for us to check in.The room was spotless.Everything about the room was perfect....I can't say enough good things. The location was even better. We could walk to the game,it was a nice area so we got to take in some nice places. We hope to return for more games in the future and this hotel will surely get our business.......
For the price, I was expecting a lot more. The location is great if you are on business or in town to see a ball game. It is a short walk to PNC park and Heinz Field. One slightly annoying feature is that you must use your room key to turn on the lights...which is fine until your husband leaves the room with the key while you are in the bathroom. Rooms are clean and relatively comfortable but I wouldn't call this a "good value." Parking is not included but there is a self park lot under the hotel.
Overall, the hotel was clean, accommodating, and very close to all downtown attractions. Valet parking was also reasonable with unlimited retrievals of your vehicle.
Stayed for a weekend getway. Parking under the hotel is not included in on the price of the hotel. For the price, not that great. Stay at any other chain hotels (Comfort Inn, Holiday Inn) with the same ammenities for a much better value. Nothing special here.
