The front desk woman (our 1st impression) was very distant, never said please or thank you, non-courteous. The room was ok, nothing special, 2 queens and a lounging room in the front. As we came in the door to the room, there were large areas of blackish stains on the carpet where something had spilled. Room service was terrible. It's not really room service, you call a 1-800 # and someone runs and grabs what you ordered from the restaurants around the area. The towels looked as if someone had wiped their hands on them and put them back. The whole feel of this hotel was not warm...it felt like you are an unwanted guest in someone else's house.

We stayed here while traveling from the Cincinnati area to Washington D.C. The staff was kind and wanted to make sure we were comfortable. The room was a good size for our family (2 adults, 2 kids under 6). The pull-out sofa bed was a life-saver. The night we were there it was quiet and comfortable.

I liked this hotel. It was the first place I stayed using this website's credit card. However, an error led me to be billed twice for the room, and now I must go through a long process with the credit card to get reimbursed. The room was billed through this website. When I arrived, I was told that the credit card billing from this website had been rejected, which didn't make any sense since I had the reservation, and that reservation had to be pre-paid. At any rate, the payment is on the credit card. I said I wouldn't accept being billed twice, and I thought we had figured it out. But then I see that the hotel manager went ahead and billed my card for a second time for the hotel without any authorization from me. This manager really messed up and now it will take a couple months and a bunch of paperwork to be reimbursed.

Lots of restaurants. Suburban shopping. Great night!

The only problem we had was their was a door bell, only one on our floor. Was a handicapped accesable room.I think kids were ringing it and running.Pain in the butt,But thats it.

Laura was very helpful with regard to helping us find needed transportation. She went out of her way.

Room was fine

Great location right by two major highways, which made it easier to get on and off the road. Furthermore, the shops and shopping near by cannot be beat.

Pillow top beds would be perfect

Good, clean, comfortable and convenient. In a town where accomodations are extemely dated, The Springhill Suites are the best choice when visitng Washington PA. A big plus is the breakfast buffet. There are better food selection here than in the 4 diamond properties where I've paid over $25 for much less. I travel here for family and business several times a year and always choose this Sprinhill Suites.
