We always have a wonderful stay at this hotel. The only problem is there are not enough parking spaces for handicapped people. Several times we arrived back at the hotel after an event and didn't have a handicapped parking space and were forced to park on a hill which lead to a long walk to the hotel or a handicapped person.

When i took the beadspread off to get in bed i found long black hair and lots of pubic hair and eyelash makeup on pillows. I stripped the bed and then waited 15mn for fresh linens. I don't like making the bed. especially in the middle of the night! The floor was not vacuumed. I was told they were sorry about it. When i checked in i asked to be away from elevators to be in a quiet room. The only rooms i could get were all around the elevators. I was told the"orbitz rooms" are clustered around the elevators. I had no idea i would be treated as a lower class citizen because i booked through Orbitz.

Used to stay at other Hampton Inns around Pittsburgh, this is my favorite now.

This hotel is a great place for half the cost of downtown hotels. The breakfast is awesome!

We had to make last minute reservations due to a sudden death in the family and we were fortunate to get our reservations. The reason I only had four stars for the price value was because we paid a much higher room rate than we usually do when we make our reservations at this hotel. We stay here very often and love to stay at this hotel mainly because of the staff because they are fantastic. The room we were able to get was very, very nice.

As always the Hampton was clean and the staff was friendly. Road construction in area was the only downside to this trip but everything else was great.

The hotel room had been clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good, however, the problem was that the WiFi service was very poor. My friend who shared the hotel room with me and I experienced the difficulty of creating online video chats, making online telephone calls, and sending emails that were occasionally delayed to be sent. Due to our deafness, we had to ask the hotel staff to make calls for us.

Our experience with the staff was exemplary. They were very welcoming, and helpful in getting around in Pittsburgh. Room was very clean, and well decorated. BedMattress were excellent. Hot Breakfast, not so great. The scrambled eggs have the consistency of mash potatoes, and very little taste. Maybe they could offer salsa to help add flavor to them, or better yet change the brand of powder eggs they use, if there are any out there that actually look or taste like eggs. The rest of the breakfast was great and on par with the hotel’s rating.

Free parking, ten minutes drive to the restaurants, and the free wifi were the great components of my stay. The staffs were nice and the quilt was soon soft and comfy. My parents loved it!

Had to go to Pittsburgh for a few days and needed a convenient location to the city without being in the city. This was the perfect spot. The welcome could have been a little friendlier but the rest of the staff was very nice and useful. As mention before getting to the main entrance was a little inconvenient but once you been there you will find an easier way. I would stay again.

Booked the Hotel based on Hampton's reputation and my experience with them. THeplace would be fine if you had a car. I did not. So meals were limited to "delivery" or taking a cab. Understandable but disappointing. Also they have NO shuttle service which is unusual for a Hampton. Other Hamptons nearby there do have a shuttle to downtown and would be a better betif you were not renting a car. Not a bad place but limiting for a business person without a car.

We needed an early check in because of a sudden death in the family and when we arrived very early. The staff made an extra effort to make sure our room was clean and ready for us. We couldn't give them an advance notice about our early arrival but when we explained our situation at the he front desk. She informed the cleaning crew and they prepared our room for us so that we could leave our baggage and check in. We stay at this hotel often and we are always very pleased with the friendliness of the the staff. Everyone that works in this hotel from the breakfast area to the cleaning staff to the people at the front desk are very cordial and will do anything they can to make our stay comfortable and pleasant.

Good location. Good price. Clean and friendly. Lots of restaurants and shopping just a short drive away.

Good location near downtown (need to drive). Good places to eat up the road. Quiet! Great staff. Good breakfast. Very comfortable and good value.

I'm a business traveler and was there for 3 nights. I liked the room setup and the USB ports at the bedside table. It was clean, comfortable and pleasing to the eye. However, the AC unit's compressor was loud when it automatically turned on or off during the night. Also, while the duvet on the bed was nice looking and I'm sure great for winter use, it was hot to me. I couldn't get the room cold enough to keep from perspiring under it only to realize it was then too cool to use only the sheet. However, the hotel staff fulfilled my request for a couple of blankets so that the fan alone (instead of the A/C) was sufficient to keep the room cool at night.

I wanted to save a few dollars by staying outside of downtown Pittsburgh and this hotel fit the bill. Free parking, free breakfast, free Internet. It's hard to find those amenities for free in downtown Pittsburgh. And the drive downtown was only about ten minutes.

Mi stay good. I enjoyed being away from home. The location was not far from downtown. But i did ask for a jacuzzi in mi room an they gave me a room for disabled person. The breakfast was good an hott. I they should put pictures of there rooms up on there Web site.

I have to admit this hotel was not my first option. But it was clean and comfortable. And the staff was very courteous. A little bit tricky trying to get across the road to reach the hotel. But in a whole I would stay again.

Our recent stay at this Hampton Inn was every bit as nice as our week stay over the Christmas holidays. When you first check in until the day you check out. The staff is friendly, courteous and will help you with any questions or needs. The free breakfast every morning is a delicious way to start your day in Pittsburgh. We have named this hotel our home away from home.

Access to the hotel was tricky. After exiting the highway have to drove a long distance to made a U-turn. After checking in, the reception staff explain a shorter way to the hotel. Lots of restaurant nearby. No social hour and breakfast was pretty standard but sufficient.
