If you are OCD and like super clean rooms then this hotel is NOT for you. If you are ok with MOTEL like accommodations then this IS it. There are signs saying they are doing renovations and all hallways have no baseboards throughout the whole hotel. The floors are ripped up and there are patches and holes throughout the rooms and hallways. First floor rooms near pool are musty and nasty. Couldn’t even imagine swimming in there.3rd floor was okay. Bathroom and room could have been more clean. They need to update this place asap because it could be a gem. The restaurant actually serves good food but the free breakfast was disgusting. The eggs and sausage had a fishy taste at first bite and my stomach was hurting immediately after. They refrigerate the powder donuts which were cold and chewy. Recommend making a waffle eating some toast or oatmeal and maybe some cereal. The fitness center was also less than desirable and like being in a basement. I don’t plan to return here. The staff was pretty friendly. The outside was well lit so I didn’t feel unsafe and it was actually pretty clean. However, that did not prepare me for the inside…

Checked in and it was full. Our rooms toilet wouldn't flush and kept over flowing for no reason. Maintenance came once but the second time they didn't and no one would come in to fix the issue... Staff seemed overworked overwhelmed and tired.

The hotel smelled, the floors were ripped up, there were holes in the hallway halls, our battery to our door was broke, the bed was like sleeping in gravel, the breakfast was horrible! The room was not clean, half the outlets did not work.

After I checked in and went to my room the keys didn’t work, so I had to go back and the receptionist made new keys and accompanied me to get in the room. The room smelled, there was for sure a flies breeding in the bathroom plumbing somewhere because there were baby flies all over the place. The towels smelled disgusting. The bathtub was filthy .. The bathroom was totally beat down and the door could barely close. The mattress wasn’t that comfortable. I put the heat on during the night time as the temperature dropped as Pittsburgh can get cold overnight even though it was only end August, and once I did that there was a disgusting smell coming out of the heater so I had to turn it off. The free breakfast was below par compared to other hotels I’ve been to with free breakfast. The coffee was about as cheap as it gets. Bottom line, I wouldn’t stay there again if it was free!

I arrived early at 1 pm and requested to check in early if possible and told for $45 I could so I did not. Hotel is run down, my smoke detector had its battery removed and the was mold on wall in shower. The hotel smells and pool area was so run down and disgusting. Will never ever return to this place.

At first look, it appeared to be a clean room. However, the TV did not work. The only buttons on the remote that worked were the on/off and volume buttons. The only channel was running a Bill Cosby marathon. The restaurant was not staffed, taking 20 minutes for anyone to show up, then our food was wrong and really terrible. The hair dryer in the room was a fire hazard, turning bright red immediately when turned on and smoking. It appeared that people were living in the hotel, we woke up to the people down from us staring in through our door. We attempted to use the pool, but the smell was so bad, and it wasn't chlorine. I would not recommend this hotel.

When we arrived I found drinks in the fridge in the room and there was hair in the bathtub. The toilet did not look like it was cleaned well. There were spots where someone spilled something on my comforter. There was a lot of road noise from our room. & there was a dog across from us that was barking quite often. In the morning there was no hot water. There was only warm water for a shower. The hot tub was broken in the pool area was very run down.

Great staff, but find another spot

The staff was genuinely terrific. The hotel was in the process of being remodeled, or at least having the carpets replaced. The entire place is very outdated. The room appeared clean, if you didn’t look too closely. The bathroom was horrible, the shower walls needed a good scrubbing, the shower curtain was dirty, the shower handles were sort of rusty, and where people put the soap, super gross. I really didn’t want to touch much of anything. The bed was pretty ok. The air conditioner worked well. I stayed only one night. The hotel had a restaurant and bar with free breakfast in the morning. The food was good. No complaints there. For me, the condition of the hotel was fair at best. The staff was very friendly, kind and accommodating. I would love to say I would be back, specifically because of them, but I was not comfortable with my stay because of the condition of the hotel.
