This hotel is purely boutique hotel and little away from karon beach. Rooms are very basic and boring. Rooms having very low quality amenities in room means even we did not feel to touch those. No bed decorations as they show on their website. In case you opening any window you will find saft and there are chances you get some more surprise. But for sure you will hear voice of cat throughout night.
The bed was comfy and room was cleaned regularly. Great air conditioning, friendly staff. Great breakfast. Good location, 5 mins away from Karon beach by moped. 2 minute walk to Karon Temple. Loads of nice places to eat.
Only stayed 2 night u get what u pay for but the staff very very rude waiting to check out while he was sitting playing a game on his phone ( 14mins waiting then he stood up and threw my deposit at me SACK HIM nasty man)
The upsides: 1) Good location in a quiet corner but close to shops and a 12-minute walk from the beach 2) Powerful air conditioning 3) A TV set that reads USB sticks. The downsides: 1) A shoddy shower (however, stable hot water) 2) Wi-Fi access just in the lobby 3) Substandard breakfasts by Thailand measures 4) Unfriendly staff at the reception: lazy and borderline hostile The overall impression is that it's an OK place to sleep in, but just that. As soon as you get up, get going. Room service gives you clean towels every day, bed linen gets changed once in 5 days.
At first, I figured that some of the reviews about the horrible staff and the poorly kept rooms was just written by your standard 'complainers'. I decided to book this hotel, as it was a fair price and in a decent location. Though the hotel itself has some potential, I HIGHLY DO NOT recommend staying here. The largest reason would be the absolutely horrid staff. We thought that this would just be one occurrence, but the staff stayed consistently terrible throughout our whole stay. How can hotel management allow for such garbage to work at a hotel? Example: We asked for an additional blanket at night. The night staff looked at us, grunted, and said MAYBE tomorrow. Like really? Is it that hard to grab a blanket? We never got the blanket. The room itself is quite dirty. The bed sheets and the towels had stains on them, the walls were stained, etc... Like I said, the hotel would have potential, as it is a fairly nice hotel, but it is just not well-kept because no one probably cares enough about it. Long story short, don't waste your money here... There is so much competition and so many nice hotels that there is no point of staying at this crappy hotel. We spent $5 more per night at a different hotel not far from there and are extremely happy with the kind staff, clean rooms, nice amenities, and the location.
Worst place i've ever had to unwillingly reside at. I'm trying now to find someting positive to write about my 2 weeks there but impossible. You could say some of the staffmembers were nice... anyway, stay away!!!
We had 5 nights in Bangkok then 5 nights in Chiang Mai which were great, then after 2 flights and 1 hr taxi trip we ended up at his dump! The photos etc on booking.com are not what you get when you arrive. The staff are rude and unhelpful, the reception corridors etc are filthy and the rooms are a disgrace, mould growing up the bed on the walls, damp smell, rotten windows, bugs splattered all over he walls, broken fittings. I checked my 2 sons room which was just as bad! I complained to reception about the condition of the rooms but the guy seemed to forget how to speak English even though he managed when we booked in. We decided we couldn't stay and got a taxi down to Kamala and stayed in much better accommodation also the resort was much nicer than Karon. If your a backpacker on a budget then this place would be ok but as a family wanting a relaxing break this is not he place.
We payed 12 usd for the room, and for that price I cant complain. The room was a bit old, the bathroom too. The Window of the bathroom didn't close so we got mosquitoes at night. The bathroom sink was in the room, not in the bathroom. We had hot water and a/c. They require 2.000 baths in case of incidentials.
One of the worst hotel I've ever been. AVOID THIS HOTEL. Prior to my booking they tried to cancel my booking with the excuse that non of the 3 credit cards provided worked. After multiple calls to Booking and after the booking team threat them to cover the cost of another hotel magically one of my cards worked. Upon check-in we complaint to the reception manager whom kept laughing at our faces and making fun of us with the rest of the staff. After half an hour the manager finally arrived and confirmed both of our rooms were upgraded, however we had to wait a few hours for checkin. A couple hours later only one of the rooms was upgraded as the other one was no longer available. Ridiculous! One night we left the keys at reception to pick up later. No one was at reception when we came back and all keys where left at the desk of reception for anyone to take. No security at all! The staff was beyond rude! They even screamed at us when we refused to give them extra money beyond the amount specified in policy for the security deposit. Breakfast awful!! AVOID THIS HOTEL!!
Things I like: 1) Simple furniture arrangement 2) Colourful room and corridors 3) Cute miniature statues all over the hotel compound 4) Free drinking water at the lobby 5) Two lovely (and lazy) cats at the lobby Things I don't like: 1) 2000 bath deposit. Utter ridiculous and inconvenient. Please put a big signage about it at the lobby! 2) Nearby currency exchange has ridiculous exchange rate. 3) Super long process at the lobby counter
