The Aircon made me terribly sick. There was a fan, but the electricity cut off if the windows or the bathroom door were open. So if I wanted the fan, I couldn't have the windows open. As a result, the temperature in the room was at least ten degrees hotter than the hallway and probably fifteen to twenty degrees hotter than the cool evening air outside, and with no way to air out the room or get any crossbreeze. There was a small fridge but no kettle. The staff were friendly and nice but spoke little to no English. The neighborhood was a bit seedy, although we found a one of the best Esaan restaurants in Phuket just around the corner. Although it was cheap, I would not stay here again. For just $5 USD more a night, I can stay someplace much much nicer.
