Hilton Phuket Arcadia Resort & Spa

If I was to go back to Phuket I would stay here again for sure. Awesome property, comfortable everything, and a very friendly staff. 5 stars all around.

Beautiful location, great amenities, pleasant staff - overall excellent stay

First, the house-keeping service was not consistent. On various days, TP or towels were left out and when we called, the lines would be busy. Then, every time we turned on the AC, there was an annoying knocking noise. Althought when one was tired, it didn't prevent one from sleeping, one should not expect this from a Hilton property. The restaurants, while good, were expensive and boring. On the other hand, the landscaping is beautiful giving the sense of a true tropical paradise. The location is great - close to Karon Beach, and within walking distance to shops and restaurants. And we love the pools, all six (?# of them. The property is children and family friendly. We started planning for this vacation late #2 weeks in advance) and was pleasantly surprised to find a resort this good.

Nice hotel with excellent location. Suggest garden view on higher floor room. seaview & low level may not be a good choice, guess what I'm trying to tell.

the place is well located and the natural beauty is awesome. staff are friendly and responsible. good walking paths within the garden. beach is good but not so clean.

Wow what an amazing place! The beach is beautiful beyond compare, and the resort is gorgeous too. Three great pools, and gardens that are really special. On the average side - the health club is just okay (but great tennis courts), and skip the main restaurant since it's boring western food like club sandwiches -- eat at the Thai restaurant instead if you eat at the hotel, it's authentic and delicious. The location is decent since it's a quiet beach but located very near the nightlife area of Patong (don't miss!) and the town of Phuket so excursions are easy. Last but not least -- very friendly staff! Had a great stay here.

Nice overall, but the furniture in the rooms was a little old.

nice hotel but a long way away if you want any night life

I loved everything and you should look no further BOOK this hotel its worth the money great pools, service, and location.

A surprise 20th anniversary gift saw me whisk my wife away to Thailand -- Phuket & Bangkok. The Hilton was quite nice, and I may have rated it higher, but it doesn't compare to the LeBua at Bangkok where we stayed next. (The service at the LeBua was nothing short of extraordinary.) The Hilton was quite nice -- the location was fantastic, the room excellent, the amenities fine, the breakfast very good, and basically we spent all our evenings just walking along the beach, shopping -- and taking tours. The staff were polite and friendly, but that was about it. To be clear, were I to go to Phuket again (and we probably will), I would definitely consider the Hilton -- it was perfectly fine, and I may well stay there again. (But if I go to Bangkok again, I will never stay anywhere but the Lebua.)

Incredibly clean well appointed rooms. Be sure to ask for a remodeled room. Beautiful property with lots of outdoor sitting areas with great views of the lagoons or mountain behind. The pools are surrounded by palm trees and lush vegetation. Great place to relax. Buffet breakfast breakfast was outstanding. The coffee shop is very good but a little pricey. Food at the hotel restaurants are a little pricey too. Location is great. Lots of shops, bars, and restaurants just a 10 minute walk on either side of the hotel along the beach road. Taxis and buses are also readily available along the beach road. Most tourist attractions, other beach towns, and the airport are easily accessible from this hotel. Be sure to negotiate with the taxi or tuk tuk drivers as prices vary widely. The beach in front of the hotel is beautiful and very clean however, the beach chairs and umbrellas have to be rented. Cost is 200 bhat for 2 chairs and an umbrella. Worth the price. The staff at this hotel put it over the top. They were all extremely friendly, polite, and attentive to all our needs. Their English may be limited but they make every attempt to be hospital. Overall, it's a great place to stay

we were five friends, and we all reserved online. I was supposed to have the best room, because I paid the higher rate compared to my friends. However, one friend got a very good room, and the others got O.K. rooms. My room was far from everyone else, and it was very bad. Old room with old furniture and the smell was bad. I went back to the front desk and asked to change the room. They told me that I had to pay more. About $19 more per night. I agreed. Then they told me that they did not have any rooms available. Then, when I decided to leave the hotel, they changed my room. However, the other three friends were able to change to similar rooms as mine the next day without having to pay the extra charge. Not a good practice, specially for Hilton. Not happy at all. I was surprised even when I agreed to pay the extra charge, one the front desk staff told me that they did not have any room other than the first one! Another staff agreed to change my room. Also, my other three friends all got better rooms without having to pay extra fees. Why the first staff refused to change my room initially is beyond me!

beautifull location and view, many activities, very courtious and helpfull employees, very clean and well maintained rooms and grounds. would highly reccommend
