We stayed in a room with connection door to another room. Thought it would be ok, as you could only open the door in your room, not the door to another room. (There is a small space inbetween the doors) But: My child sleeps a nap during daytime and I put ”do not disturb”-sign on the door but still the cleaner knocked many times yelling ”housekeeping” and CALLED two times. This happened next day also, that time I went to the door and said baby is sleeping. Cleaner asked ”no cleaning?” ”Waters”. I thought she was just not good in English and just overly eager cleaner. BUT I THINK THEY HAD SOMETHING ELSE ON THEIR MIND: Once again she was eager to clean, this time it was ok. We all went out. I came back to pick something and she was still inside, I tried to go in but she stomes to the door repeating ” dropped water” and showed the bottles in her cleaning cart and demonstrating spilling water. She took our used towel which she had in her cart took it and went in and closed the door. I was ouside thinking about what just happened a few seconds before I went in. She quickly swepped the towel on the floor and explaing how she worried the floor would be slippery and I could fall. I didn’t see any water or bottle anywhere and I don’t believe that a bottle would have been broken even if she had dropped one. I stayed in, went to shower and heard her yealling to someone on the door. She also called someone straight when she came in (but I don’t if this has nothing to do with anything else). After she left I saw she had left her keycard so I gave it to her as she was still outside. But then I left and the room was empty. Then my husband and son came in to pick something and they heard someone coming in our room and my husband spoke to our son ”mum was fast” and they were approaching the hallway of the room and someone escaped through the connection room, even left ourside of the door open (as s/he was in a hurry as my husband was in the room they must have thought was empty). I think this is absolutely not suitable even in hostels, let alone in 4 star hotel! So really think if you want to support this kind of action! They uppgraded us to a bigger room but didn’t feel good about staying there but we stayed as we were leaving on a few days. It think the manager should take a look of the staff, nobody wants to stay in a hotel where staff comes to your room without permission. Would love to hear if manager knows anything about this as it seemed like the reseptionists were not surprised about this...

Private villa with private pool definitely booking Alpina Phuket Nalina again..value for money , the helpful staff and the food was very tasteful..perfect location to the night life in Kata Beach..Thank You ,great memories made

Highly recommend staying in a villa with pool they are an absolute luxury!! Just returned back from 5 nights with my husband and 2 boys aged 5 and 11mths. The food on site is nice and very reasonable. location is good its away from the noise but close enough to all shops restaurants etc. Kata beach is a 5 min walk and its beautiful. will definitely be staying again next year

I loved staying at the hotel. At first, the air-con and the elevator did not work. A staff fixed the air-con for me. However, the elevator still did not work, I had to use the stair. The atmosphere was very good. Nice and peaceful. Staffs were friendly. I recommend this hotel.

We were upgraded to a suite when we checked in, we were told we could go in the room from 1130 when we came back to the hotel at 1130 we were told it would be after 1400 Room was clean and a little dated but very big When we came back to the room on the second day it had been cleaned but no towels had been left, this was then the same for the next three days. Why clean the room and take the towels and don’t leave any more? Hotel was well situated a shortish walk to the beach and the restaurants bars etc Pool was superb and very big ideal for a few lengths I would return to this hotel

Not at all worth it, Reconstruction with modern amenities is needed... Highly not recommended..... Won't recommend ever to any body. Other hotels 2 star are better than rooms of this resort. Also food and quality of hospitality is of lack, no knowledge of housekeeping as well room service facility being in hotel industry.

Very good resort in the heart of Kata close to shopping 10 minute walk to beach.shuttle available to beach and Phuket town, breakfast good variety to choose from, the rooms are spacious and clean and nice large pool to swim in.

Great hotel with an excellent pool. Large rooms with very large bed. Good breakfast. Good service and friendly staff. Quite hotel except first rooms on block one as they back onto a bar with loud music, but other rooms further along in blocks 2,3 and 4 are quiet. Breakfast includes Asian and western breakfast options. We had a great stay for 8 nights with our daughter. Thanks.

The suite looks nice at photos, but in real life it's very old and needs to be fully reconstructed. Scratched and dirty wallpapers, slippery oiled floor, the door security latch was broken off. The bathroom... oh... too much black mould even for Thailand. When we just checked in someone's hairs were in the bath, the bath itself is good to be thrown out. Nothing else. The shower flow mixer is covered with limescale. It was never cleaned I believe. The waterflow is very poor. There's a table in the room that I wanted to work at with my laptop. But right above the table there was a hole in the ceil. And water (or whatever it was) was dripping out from there. Not much but what the hell? Wifi in the room works extremely bad. Had to buy a local SIM card. Breakfasts. Though there's quite a good offering of meals, the tea is the problem. 1 (one) sort of tea, if it is tea at all, brewed in a teapot. Ah, there are also 2 dying coffee machines. One of them was broken. Well, there were good things also. The pool is ok, wide kingsize bed, and the lunch booked to the room from Tropicana restaurant was delicious. But these are to few for a hotel with 8.1 rating at booking. I do not recommend.

Definite ups & downs to this resort. Pros: huge pool, great drinks, very interesting accommodations, patient staff, wide-variety at the breakfast buffet, off the beaten path so not as noisy, excellent price for private transport to/from airport, private villas are gorgeous & well worth the upgrade Cons: dated rooms, very hard beds with limited pillows [2], lots of mosquitoes, long outdoor walk to your room (i.e. if it's raining you'll be soaked by the time you get there), very slippery walkway entrances to buildings, lots of added fees for things like taking drinks or food to go from the breakfast buffet, long drive from the hotel [at least an hour without traffic]
