Huge apartment. Very clean. Great views. Parking is a pain and they don’t communicate well. Make sure you get info on where and how to park.
Most of the experience and unit itself was fine. The balcony, laundry, pool, and gym were nice. But the floors were dirty, things were broken, trash sat outside the shoots. The couch? No thanks. No pool towels or gym towels. The general building did not seem to be kept up very well or that safety was a top priority. Accessing the unit from the 7th floor garage was a bit of a pain and deterrent. Most importantly I would not recommend parking here for a single female traveler. I was hesitant to come and go because it was a bit shady. Finally Sonder seems to be obsessed with making this a digital experience - and enough w downloading the stupid app! - which is fine when it is easy. But it wasn’t for me. For example how about a reminder email for the verification process? Also they emailed checkout instructions that required login. Why? I had a password reset issue and just gave up. Those kinds of things just cause friction and frustrate customers when they are not necessary.
The unit was modern with most necessities for a short stay provided. Good size TV w/ Chromecast and Wi-Fi included. Large useful appliances all throughout the unit - Washer, Dryer, Fridge, Dishwasher. A very nice balcony with some good street views. My bathroom was nice and clean. A fantastic pool and gym were included. A parking spot was included for my unit as well, which was super helpful. My unit was great except the floors were a little bit dirty. I'm guessing this was just bad luck for me, because everything else was so clean and organized. The check-in and check-out process were so organized, simple, and efficient. I'm very impressed with Sonder and this building. They did such a good job setting this place up. I hope the units and common areas are maintained and kept in top shape. If so, I will be returning.
Beautiful condo that could be my own apartment. Clean and stylist right in the middle of downtown, with a lovely balcony that looks over downtown. Parking and entry were also pretty easy.
Was seeking a location to make meals if restaurants in the area were closed during work trip. Full kitchen solution was great, pool access was nice to have. Room itself is very industrial and minimalist... living room could be more functional as a work space or as a relax space. TV requires you to connect to your own streaming services. A little bit unconventional and less comfortable than I would have preferred.
Well equipped and Sonder was very responsive to our requests.
Loved this property! I had room 1304. It was immaculate! Wonderful FULL kitchen, great bedroom, and nice living area. There's even a washer and dryer in the unit to wash all of your clothes after your hiking adventures around Phoenix. Free parking was included with my nightly rate on the seventh floor. The local area is safe and walkable! Keep in mind that there's no cable TV. You can use the wifi to stream your Netflix from your phone. Also there's no daily maid service. I spent very little time in the apartment, so these things weren't an issue for me at all :D HIGHLY recommend this unit if you want the amenities of your own condo in downtown Phoenix!
