Magnificent historical property

Love this resort. So peaceful and unique. Definitely would stay here again!

We have stayed before prior to the Hyatt takeover. Still lovely grounds and staff very friendly, however it is no longer a boutique hotel, it’s now a Hyatt and the cost cutting is evident- the boutique price did survive and that the biggest disconnect.

Great stay staff was friendly and helpful.

The property was cute and quaint. The bed was comfortable. The property was pretty quite however the doors to the room were so heavy they slammed so you could hear every single person come and go. The staff told us the bar closed at 10 and we went in at 9:15 and the girl told us she was closed. The gym smelled absolutely foul. For the price...it was average at best.

Beautiful grounds in Hacienda style and peaceful atmosphere with a view of Camelback. The staff is wonderful - very accommodating and pleasantly helpful adding to a very enjoyable stay. The location is very good and the bar and restaurant food is excellent.

Property dated. Staff very good-attentive and hard working. Good restaurant. Good bar. The rooms should be back to precovid service. Change the beds-refresh water bottles, coffee Kurig selection is skimpy, not enough sweetener. Rooms should be cleaned daily. But all the staff were very good.

Quality

Love the property. But my fan in the bathroom didn’t work and I couldn’t brighten the television

Very nice grounds and the room were great. The mix up bar was excellent.

The grounds are fabulous, truly beautiful but the rooms are old and stuffy and outdated for the price you pay. Pool staff fabulous, food was good, service good, just hated the rooms, at least for the price. The room was downright grundgy.

I had to pay a resort fee but arrived after the spa closed & left the next day - didn't use any of the facilities.

Fantastic hotel, beautiful grounds. We enjoyed our stay!

What a beautiful place. The setting is magnificent the hotel is incredible. What can I say but a motion to have a place. I would recommend to anyone.

Overall a beautiful property. Our Valencia Casita could use some minor updates/repairs. The spa is wonderful, a tad pricey but to be expected with this property. The pool area is very simple and quaint, not really made for kids. I have to give props to Stephen at the pool bar. He made perfect "antioxidant" mojitos with fresh blueberries and mint. Delicious! Housekeeping was done everyday and was never a disruption. They did a very nice job. I loved how quiet the resort was, even with multiple weddings it was never too loud.

We stayed for 4 nights. It's a nicely run place. The grounds are nice. We had a big room with a great tub. The Spa is over priced compared to the Phonecian and other five star spas and it is not clean or new. The hot tub had mould and there's no one servicing the spa- they serve stale cashews and banana chips which isn't super classy. The pool area is relaxing with a nice menu. Our big issues were: 1. bad spa, 2. when we arrived the coffee maker had coffee splashed all over it so the sugar bags were damp and there was a bad smell, 3. the waiters/waitresses in the restaurant are unhappy to be there and the service was bad. Good things: Nice grounds, good staff, comfy bed. Not a 5 star place but nice.
