I had to pay a resort fee but arrived after the spa closed & left the next day - didn't use any of the facilities.

Fantastic hotel, beautiful grounds. We enjoyed our stay!

What a beautiful place. The setting is magnificent the hotel is incredible. What can I say but a motion to have a place. I would recommend to anyone.

Overall a beautiful property. Our Valencia Casita could use some minor updates/repairs. The spa is wonderful, a tad pricey but to be expected with this property. The pool area is very simple and quaint, not really made for kids. I have to give props to Stephen at the pool bar. He made perfect "antioxidant" mojitos with fresh blueberries and mint. Delicious! Housekeeping was done everyday and was never a disruption. They did a very nice job. I loved how quiet the resort was, even with multiple weddings it was never too loud.

We stayed for 4 nights. It's a nicely run place. The grounds are nice. We had a big room with a great tub. The Spa is over priced compared to the Phonecian and other five star spas and it is not clean or new. The hot tub had mould and there's no one servicing the spa- they serve stale cashews and banana chips which isn't super classy. The pool area is relaxing with a nice menu. Our big issues were: 1. bad spa, 2. when we arrived the coffee maker had coffee splashed all over it so the sugar bags were damp and there was a bad smell, 3. the waiters/waitresses in the restaurant are unhappy to be there and the service was bad. Good things: Nice grounds, good staff, comfy bed. Not a 5 star place but nice.

Always enjoy our stay there! Private! The Food is Amazing!

Excellent service and unbelievable view, defitnely I'll be back.

This is a great place for a relaxing adult vacation. We loved the spa, and a must for a mom to be! The resort is beautiful and the food is great. Staff is exceptional!

I enjoyed my stay. The bed was comfortable and the Casita was spacious.

Ambiance takes you back in time yet has all the modern amenities.

This place was great. My wife and I wanted a quick getaway for our anniversary and chose the Toyal Palms. We couldn't have been happier. The staff exceeded our expectations in every way. Beautiful grounds and the pool was quiet and relaxing. Would recommend for couples wanting a break from the noise of other resorts. We will be back!

The Royal Palms Resort & Spa is definitely a five star experience - from the spacious rooms, to the excellent spa, dinner dining and delightful breakfast on the patio, attentive and helpful (but not intrusive) staff.

From the minute we pulled into the resort the amazing service started. The Valet's were very helpful and really made a great first impression. You have to valet park - they will bring your car up any time you want. Opened the door for my wife and we never touched our bags. Check in was quick and the bellman gave us a great rundown of the place as we waked to our room. If you are looking for a smaller, secluded lush Spanish Colonial style hotel - this place is for you. The property is beautiful. Once on the property you would not realize you are in the middle of Phoenix. This is NOT a place I would bring my kids. It's not a run and splash in the pool kind of place. I gave the location 4 * because well It's Phoenix and not the beach. However you do have easy access to the Biltmore area of Phoenix and Old Town Scottsdale withing a 10-15 minute car ride. I gave Room comfort 4 * because we got an "outside" room. Next time (and there will be a next time) we will either book a casita or a room with a balcony/patio. That is really the only way the room could be better. Value... That's tough. This place ain't cheap. HOWEVER, it is WELL worth the price. T. Cooks Restaurant was amazing. We were there for our anniversary and we were treated great right down to the rose petals on the table. The food was OMG! good. Again, this is NOT a value meal kind of place. Expect to drop an easy $150 + for dinner plus drinks. I'm going to go back so it is definitely worth the price.

My wife and went to Phoenix in mid May for a family function. We arrived at the hotel late due to a delayed flight and were greeted by a very courteous bell staff who parked our rental car and cheerfully carried our bags to our room. The staff was extremely accommodating and eager to assist. The hotel grounds and room were spotless and very well kept. The food at T Cooks was top notch and we dined there at least four times during our five night stay. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again.

First rate service, calm and relaxing.. Amazing property and a first rate spa. Wonderful experience!

Staff was very professional and courteous Room was phenomenal. Overall very lush and very well maintained Wish I could have stayed longer!

The amenities of the hotel are minimal; has tons of rooms, but small facilities. The resort itself is nice, but not outstanding. Don't expect to get much out of the resort fee you are charged daily. There is a tiny pool and about 50 chairs around it.So it is very crowded. The SPA is small as well and does not offer much other than lockers and a relaxation area (which consists of 2 couches and 2 large tables with beverages). There is only one restaurant and they the receptionist screens you (much like they'll do at the airport) and if you are well dressed and over 50, you'll get a good spot and a good waiter. If you are not a seniour or well dressed, they'll send you to the back where they have the worse tables and bad service. The staff pretends that they care, yet they don't do anything to exceed your expectations. My only good experience is the breakfast menu on Saturday: the cheff prepared the best eggs ever. However, the waiter was super rude, brought orange juice with a mosquito flying on it and after bringing the eggs and coffee, brought us the check (he didn't even wait for us to have a bite!). All the staff in that resort treat you like they are doing you a favour as if you didn't pay the $600 (tax and resort fee included). The rooms have thin walls (I heard everything that my neighbout was saying at all times); the shower has an opening on the ceiling that lets the light come into the entire room very early in the morning, so bring a mask and earplugs if you want to sleep. I would not recommend anyone staying here. If you haven't travelled much around the world, then maybe you will think that this hotel is awesome. But I have stayed in 5-star hotels all my life, have travelled around the globe and this is not a 5-star hotel at all. It is overpriced and on check-out day, expect the cleaning staff to take a peek at your window several times because they can't wait for you to be gone.

The Royal Palms Resort is beautiful. The facilities are absolutely gorgeous. All the staff is wonderful....everyone of them! Perfect! It Doesn't Get Any Better

This is our second time back, and as last time we enjoyed everyday. I can't speak highly enough about the staff, they go the extra mile to make sure that we are not just guest but part of their family. The rooms are comfortable and well maintained. The only disappointment this time was the bar/lounge the food/appetizers were ok, cocktails/wine appeared a little expensive. Service was good. We will be returning soon, and again stay at The Royal Palms, it home away from home!
