This is the third time we have stayed here and the service and accommodations have just gotten better each time. The airport shuttle is fast and reliable making transport to car rental and return so easy. Rooms are clean and newly remodeled. Staff friendly and helpful. Great breakfast and wifi. Will stay again!!!

Very good value and convenient to freeway. Close location to Chase field and the downtown Phoenix area.

After a 14 hour trip my boyfriend and I were happy to finally check in to the Holiday Inn Express at 12:20AM. We only stayed for one night as we were traveling further the next morning. We had room 326 (2 queens) and everything was just right. The room isn't too spacious but exactly what we needed. Props for housekeeping because the room was very very clean which is a definite must for me. The bathroom looked like we were the first guests to ever use it. Maybe because we were so very tired but the bed was seriously comfy!! It felt like sleeping on a cloud. Absolutely loved the bed. Will be staying there again on our way back. * We used the free shuttle from and to the airport and both our drivers were very pleasant. * Front desk personnel was friendly. * We got downstairs a bit late for breakfast ...right at 9:30AM when the lady was ready to start closing up so she asked us (a bit unfriendly) to get what we wanted quickly so we took our breakfast up to the room. Breakfast was just fine.

We stayed at this hotel for one night prior to an early morning flight. It was exceptionally clean and the staff very helpful. The only issue was that it was necessary to take an earlier (4:00 AM) shuttle to the airport because we could not be guaranteed room on the later shuttle. It is first come, first served and stops at the adjacent hotel before it picks up at this hotel.

It was fine but wish breakfast would stay open longer

Hotel being remodeled, no big deal. The rooms are clean, large, the beds are amazing. And I didn't hear anyone else the entire stay. Also shuttle to airport. Very convenient.

The staff, and room service were very nice and helpful, but the air condition wasnt great, and the wi-fi was constantly failing, causing me to miss work my entire stay there. Also a ffalse fire alarm went off at around 3am, causing tremendous stress.

Negatives: The toilet continually ran, I had to take the top off and prop up the lever to make it stop. The air conditioner blew out musty-smelling air. The shower drained so slowly I had 4 inches of standing water on my feet after a 5 minute shower. The fitness room TV only had one channel (home-shopping network). Positives: Location really isn't too far to downtown Phoenix.

Stayed here because of the location to the airport, quick check in and clean room....

Stayed here at the end of an AZ trip for the morning flight home. Very clean and well kept, staff was great.

Close to the airport with shuttle service. Friendly staff even at 4AM when I had to catch the shuttle to the airport.

Stayed at the hotel prior to leaving on a trip. Positive experience. Loved the fact that we could leave our car at the hotel for a small fee. Pickup upon our return was prompt and friendly.

Breakfast was great! There was quite a bit of variety and ample amounts for the most part. The kitchen staff, Margarita was absolutely STELLAR! She knows how to make customers feel welcome. She was friendly, helpful, and her behavior showed that she loves her job. She is the epitome of customer service service! Our Room: The bathroom fixtures were visibly unclean, there was a bug in our bed and multiple bugs in our room. The beds were not neatly made and fresh linen was not used. I noticed that Housekeeping did not disinfect the bathroom fixtures. The maintenance worker, Abe was extremely nice and helpful. I hope they keep him around! I asked for an extra blanket, which I was told they did not have one. Pool: The pool water appeared a bit murky. There was also quite a bit of debris that could have been cleaned out, so we didn't utilize the pool. However, the hot tub was nice. Seemed to have cleaner water. It is small, but didn't have too much traffic. Staff: The only staff that was friendly was the one in training, Gabby. I waited exceptionally long to check in due to the person in front of me forgetting his ID in his car and having to go back to retrieve it. The staff person never informed me that he would be with me soon or even acknowledged my existence. People in my party were injured on their premises and the staff refused to give us a copy of the incident report, even up to two days later. We ended up having to contact the corporate office in hopes to of getting some answers. Laundry: I washed a couple loads of laundry and the washing machine damaged my whites. In addition, the dryer does not go long enough to actually dry heavy clothes without 2-3 times of restarting the machine.

The Holiday Inn Express was very convenient from the airport. It was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. My son & I spent the afternoon tubing down the beautiful, refreshing Salt River. A fun and relaxing adventure in Phoenix.

Short overnight stay for an early morning flight. Staff was friendly and attentive. Morning snacks were made available even though breakfast wasn't open yet. Shuttle to airport was courteous and timely. Bed very comfortable.

Comfortable stay with a friendly staff even in the wee hours of the morning.

The hotel was fine and the staff was trying to be very accommodating. However the wifi was extremely poor. We even changed rooms. We could get wifi in the main lobby and pick it up in the hallway outside our room but it was very flakey in the rooms. Could pick up the Hilton next door or AT&T but of course could not log into them without password. I had some serious work to do in the evening and this was not acceptable. In today's society wifi in the lobby is just not good enough. Please fix this ASAP.

The hotel was really under staffed at the front desk. So people were waiting while one person was answering the phones and checking people in on top of other things that were going on at the desk. I didn't even eat breakfast there. The lobby smelled like burnt food and not very much seating even if I wanted to.

Hotel was convenient, plenty of close parking, fast efficient check- in. Room was lovely and clean. The only problem we had was the soft pillows were NOT soft enough. We came down to Phoenix in order to take my granddaughter to the airport for a very early flight out. She was able to relax for a couple of hours before leaving, and we could wait until morning to start the 2 hour drive home.

I decided to stay by the airport for convenience, and was disappointed. The rooms were old and outdated, and not particularly clean. It wasn't bad enough to leave, but I would not stay here again.
