The home was generally as advertised in terms of layout, space, and location. It’s in a great area and clearly was a luxury property at one point. However, it no longer reflects that standard.The main issue is that the home is still being marketed and priced as a luxury rental, but the condition doesn’t match. Many of the amenities are worn, outdated, and in poor condition. Cleanliness was also below expectations. With proper refurbishment and more thorough cleaning, it could justify a higher price—but in its current state, it falls short.A more serious concern was the interaction with the owner after the stay. I was asked to leave a 5-star review, and when I explained that my experience didn’t warrant that rating, I was told that if I didn’t leave a positive review, they would leave me a poor rating as a renter. That felt inappropriate and unprofessional.Overall, the property has good potential and some great features, but it needs significant upkeep and more accurate representation to match the price being charged.
