This was our first experience at the Biltmore and unfortunately it was not a very good one. Pros: Staff was very kind notably the bell desk and valet and Security (steven , victoria, Jeffry, Billy, etc) Cons: We made a room request (4 separate times) and it was ignored. I was given a variety of different reasons why. It is what it is, we booked the signature suite. and requested the upstairs room pictured on the first slide, and were given the first floor room instead. Honoring this request would have made a big difference since I requested it 1. On the Expedia Chat 2. In person at the resort 2 weeks before stay, 3. By Phone call to Property and 4. on the Hilton Honors App. We were also charged $86 for telephone use that is not valid. Our room phone was not actually working, and we had someone come to troubleshoot. I was charged for my room service breakfast 3 times and then reversed and actually had to come to the front to remedy. My keys deactivated mid-stay and needed new ones. All this in the course of a 1-night stay that was supposed to be a celebratory staycation for my daughter birthday. I've requested a refund from the Resort for the phone charges, and I would like an honest explanation for why my room request was not honored. The resort is BEAUTIFUL, and the staff is NICE, but for the amount I spent on this room and expectations for Hilton, we were disappointed.

Beautiful stay at the Biltmore. Staff is over the top and customer service. The only thing that could be improved was that we stayed in an older part of the hotel that I believe needs to be updated.

A beautiful, historic, unique hotel however I found the prices exorbitant! Two drinks at the bar were over $50USD ($70 CAN)! And as we enjoyed the premises prior to checking out my 2 scoops of ice cream cost US$21/C$30! Just 2 regular scoops!! Parking was expensive as well with self parking around US$28 and valet parking (which was exceptionally good) US$35. The waterslide was absolutely amazing for kids over the age of 8ish (it’s big and fun!). Pools were great but if you are staying during the winter months and it is a bit cool, hot tubs or a few and far apart and crowded. Even though we paid a resort fee, Tennis was US$40 an hour even though we brought our own equipment. It was definitely an experience and if money is not an issue I guarantee you will enjoy! I just struggled with the exorbitant cost at every turn.

The room was beautiful and very clean. The location of the room was perfect and the balcony was nice to sit on and enjoy the sun or just relax.
