Arizona Biltmore, A Waldorf Astoria Resort

4.5 out of 5.0

I wanted to stay at this hotel! It was everything I expected.

It's a rambling facility so we had to be taken back & forth to our outlying building by golf cart, wait for a golf cart in the heat. Unfortunately I had forgotten something in our vehicle & retrieving it was too long & difficult a process, so it wasn't the best experiencefor me.

An architectural masterpiece - especially if you enjoy the works of nFrank Lloyd Wright.

The from was clean and the decorations/ furniture was new . The blankets on both beds were very worn out. Our phone didn't work either.

Great hotel - if your a fan of Frank Lloyd Wright you have to stay at this hotel just to see the lobby. Nice manicured grounds and for golfers plenty of putting areas for practicing/refining your short game. The bed was queen sized pillow-top mattress - the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept on. Overall the staff was very pleasant, from hotel registration to valet parking to restaurant staff.

Beautiful hotel property with great grounds, terrific pool, and enjoyable golf courses in Phoenix.

I'll start with the bad. Location was out of the way but that was my own fault. We were there for a long weekend of spring training baseball so the Biltmore was not the most convenient spot but we were able to get around to all of our stops easily as there was very little traffic in this area and it is close to the highway. The villa we stayed in was clean but not spotless. No complaints but just don't like seeing dead bugs here and there. Not sure why we had to sign up for the complimentary wifi every day. Other than the above that I consider minor issues, our stay at the Biltmore was wonderful. The hotel is stunning and the grounds amazing. The whole aura of the locale was relaxed and luxurious. Jonathon at the registration desk was patient and friendly about our requests to print tickets and boarding passes. He did so with a smile on his face and without any hesitation. Thank you JW!

Was there for a conference. Food was good staff was nice and efficient. Had a good stay

Beautiful hotel. Great architecture. Although this is a five star hotel, the service was lacking in some major areas.

The place is beautiful! We enjoyed the chess game and the movie at the pool. Everywhere was really clean and nice. Many things to do at the resort and close by.

Beautiful property. Rooms need renovation. No room at the pools.

We really enjoy the Arizona Biltmore. The facility and grounds are great.

ageless beauty with exceptional staff service and amenities

Tried to book direct but my conference rate was not available and the price given was unaffordable for this business meeting. I was glad to be able to secure a room at a high but affordable price through an online site. However, I was given a cottage that was truly in need of a renovation. It was dark with only lamps for lighting in the bedroom, the bathroom had broken tiles, no vanity, and in poor shape overall. The resort itself is beautiful with lovely gardens, pools, etc. but all rooms are not equal. If you stay here be sure of what you are booking.

Lovely hotel and wonderful setting although with the layout it seemed too large. Golf course was fine except for the 8 minute interval on tee times. This lead to having to wait between shots at times. Hotel wireless internet ciuld use some improvement. Fully stocked lobby bar and great wine room. Food way rather pricey-- I woukd give it 4.5 stars.

This was our second stay here. We were not part of a group, although they do a huge conference business here and last weekend was no exception. Despite being very busy, hotel manages to deliver quality service at a very fair price. Location is perfect. Golf course is pretty but not very challenging at all, much better places to play in the area. Had a very good massage, spa facilities are outstanding.

Very nice accommodations, but didn't get to use many since we were making a long drive across country. Wanted a GREAT place to stay & this was it. Have been here before & never a let down.

The hotel is a beautiful historic hotel. Staff was friendly and accommodating. It had rained so we were not able to utilize our balcony as it had 2" of water in it. A little bit of an disappointment. But is worth the stay.

This our second time at the Biltmore. I liked it both times. The first was not as central but had a breakfast and high tea service.

The lobby of this hotel is one of the athstecially pleasing places I have been. Also the location near Squaw Peak is great for activity. Room/bathroom were clean, spacious, and of good quality. Due to the surrounding grounds golf courses and communities you have to go quite some time before getting anywhere. The gym is cramped. service was excellent. Items ordered at the front desk got to my room before I was able to walk all the way there. $28 per per person per day resort fee is a bit ridiculous especially if you travel with your kids.
