The location and privacy right on the ocean was unbeatable. That's what you're paying for here. Some notes for future renters: 1. You need a car 2. There is a window of about 2 hours at sunset where the mosquitoes come out (especially when there's no wind). Keep the windows and door closed or you will need deet or a bug zapper all night. A screen on the bathroom window would help too. We tried citronella candles but the ac keeps them from working. 3. Text communication sometimes is glitchy on the island so you may need to ask directly for help (or call). They are next door so it's easy. 4. They have dogs but try to keep them contained if you're not comfortable with them. 5. The beach on this side is for sight and sound, not sandy swimming. It's awesome 6. Midweek sheets/towels are available but putting them on is a fee. You basically pay another girl to come in at 20$/hr

Misleading Listing

Overall we enjoyed our stay. Owners friendly & Great view. But there were issues. The listing is misleading. It says you have the property to yourself... not true! The owners are on the property as are renters for the other unit. It says 2 bedroom and it's a studio. It shows pictures of 2 pools but only 1 pool is associated with this rental. The infinity pool is associated with the other rental. It lists laundry as an amenity but that is shared with the owners and other rental unit. It says toilet paper provided but when we asked for it they told us to go buy it at the store. It says tea and coffee provided but it wasn't. It says cleaning supplies provided but they weren't. The bathroom roof leaked in the rain which created a slip hazard on the tile floor. After I fell and bruised my arm I brought it to the owners attention. I don't know if he did anything about the leak but the rain stopped so either way it wasn't a problem again. We stayed 2.5 weeks and we only got 1 change of sheets provided that we had to do ourselves. And the second set was so old it shredded the first night. I probably wouldn't give such a scathing review but the owners won't refund any of the price even with these issues. So I feel forced to warn others. Also the unit wasn't available upon arrival. The owners were asleep and they hadn't finished cleaning the unit after the previous renters. We had to wait 30 minutes for them to finish mopping. Also there is loud condo construction next door.

The stay was good and pleasant. It’s a bit distant from stores/shops. You have to park on the side of the road as there’s no parking lot. Other than that, it’s a okay area to relax and get away from everyone.
