I booked this hotel because of the Wyndham name. What I saw was anything but the Wyndham standard. The entire building is very outdated and dirty. While the beddings and the towels appeared clean, the carpet and the rest of the room were dirty. The hotel is undergoing renovation. However, we can't even tell if our room was before or after renovation. Some of the fixtures appear relatively new but the workmanship is awful (e.g., the sink vanity does not line up with the counter top). The room was small and the A/C unit was so loud that it sounded like a train going by. The pool was out of service as the water looked disgusting. I understand the hotel is undergoing name switch and renovation. With the current condition, they should just shut the whole thing down and reopen when the renovation is complete. Maybe things will be better after the renovation.

Great location and friendly staff. Large rooms with fridge and microwave are a nice plus. Hotel is going through some renovation/maintenance but was well contained.

We were in town for a sports tournament and most of the team stayed at the Hampton Inn 2 miles east of the Crowne Plaza. We visited the other members before checking in and it highlighted the deficiencies of Crowne Plaza in our eyes. The person checking us in was proficient at her job, but chose the time we were checking in to discuss with a co-worker about a problem and they didn't see eye-to-eye about it. There wasn't a knock down, drag out argument about it, but it wasn't professional. After this, we went to the room and started noticing things like the hallway walls had unusual stains on them, the elevator had a hole in the wall and the pictures of food advertising the hotel restaurant looked like the 1970's era vinyl food pictures used in advertising. The room was actually nice and cleanliness and comfort wasn't an issue. None of this made staying at Crowne Plaza impossible, but it was striking when considering the difference between there and the Hampton Inn.

Stayed here while getting lasik surgery..Hotel staff was nice besides not having my king size bed available at check in. This hotel is dated..you can't really deny that..volume controls on tv didn't work and beds were very very uncomfortable..they wouldn't need to update a lot to make this place a nice hotel..just a few recommendations.

Hotel was clean, comfortable, provides good parking, easy access, quiet.

This hotel was nice and the staff was very friendly.

We visited the hotel this past weekend, it was a family trip to Sesame Place. I've personally stayed at the hotel 2 times prior in the past year so didn't hesitate to book again since the price is pretty decent and it was about 15 minutes away from Sesame. Our prior two visits were great, clean rooms and wonderful service with no complaints but this time was a complete mess and I will NOT be returning! For starters we had an easy check in, we arrived at around 8:30p, after a long day spent at Sesame Place the woman at the desk noticed my exhaustion and quickly helped check us in. We were placed on the 5th floor, which is supposed to be an executive floor with elevator key-only access. When we first arrived at our room, we noticed it was a handicap accessible room which wasn't an issue just a weird setup when trying to get a kid bathed at night. We opened the door and we get smacked in the face with a nasty stench that was a mix of vicks and cigarettes- although its supposed to be a non-smoking room. It smelled disgusting! The rooms were dated, there were stains on the chairs and marks and dents all over the wall and bathroom door. After trying to settle in and get comfortable my son asked to go to the bathroom, I go to put him on the toilet and noticed dry feces on the toilet - anyone could probably imagine my disgust. After that I told my son he would have to wait a few minutes so I could call the front desk so someone could clean it, I pull back the sheets so he could sit in bed and notice strands of hair on the sheets. I immediately run to the phone to contact the front desk , they tell me they would call back and after about 15 mins I receive a call saying they would move my room. It was already 10:30p and I had an exhausted and cranky kid but I was so disgusting that I agreed to move. No one offered to assist with moving, they just asked me to come downstairs to get the new key so I had to move to an entirely different floor with all of our luggage and a kid who should've been sleeping an hour prior. After getting to the next room which was also handicapped I also noticed a weird stench but other than that the room seemed to be clean enough for the evening. At around 12:30a after I finally settled in bed I heard a loud group of young boys come through the hallway yelling and slamming doors and one even had the nerve to bang on my door at that time. By then I had, had just enough so I had to swing open the door and nearly threaten the kids to keep it down because I had a sleeping toddler that would not be woken up by some rowdy kids. It didn't continue much longer after I had to speak to the kids. Shortly after that I was able to get a bit of rest, the next morning I checked out the buffet nothing interesting and did not feel like paying for it due to the evening I had. I also peeked at the pool, which was disgusting, it had greenish water which was almost thick-like and the hot tub had hair floating in it. After all of that I checked out and although the same woman who was on the evening before was still there when I checked out, she did not offer an apology of an sort for the evening before. They did nothing to compensate me for my trouble and I was completely disappointed and would NOT return back to the establishment.

We had an awesome time!!!! We just booked the room for an overnight stay to spend some quality time alone. The staff was very pleasant and helped whenever we needed it. Danielle was great with answering any questions we had late at night. We will be using your hotel again!!!!

We were greeted by the nicest person who offered us an Executive Room which was nice and quiet....would go back just because of that! Only drawback is that the main road was LOUD! Also, if we turned the continuous fan off, the air conditioner sounded like you were in a plane...woke the kiddies :'(. My only other complaint was after a LONG, HOT and tiring day at the park, we only had one towel in the room. Housekeeping never replaced our towels just took the dirties. Front desk though had towels up to us in under 5 minutes....great redemption! My girls LOVED that they were able to pick a treat at checkout!

The hotel was nice. my only problem was service was just so so. I ordered a glass of wine in the bar and it was a 4oz pour. besides that the room was clean.

Hotel was right off main road and great for overnight business trip.

we had a very relaxing stay, close to shopping food and main intersections. not too far from downtown Philly.

The room condition was fair. The heating was extremely noisy waking causing a restless nights sleep. Also you could hear the traffic outside all night.

We traveled with our then 7 month old. The walls were very thin, so the noise from other travelers was a bit bothersome at night, especially due to the door adjoining the room next door. Fortunately she's a good sleeper so she slept through it, but if you're traveling with children who are light sleepers or if you are one yourself it might not be for you. Otherwise, the facilities and room were clean and the staff was very nice.

Excellent staff that were really helpful and nice.

the hotel was excellent with the staff very friendly. the location was also great and the maid service exceptional. the weather wasn't the best, but the in house movies and choice of television channels made up for it. i would highly recommend this hotel. thanks again to their staff for making this trip very enjoyable !!!!!!

The room is very comfort and clean. And the staff is very helpful. Just wish the Internet (wi-if) can run more fast.

Stayed one night with my family of 4. The hotel was busy but not crowded. The room was super clean and the front desk staff was very courteous. We got to the hotel mid afternoon and was able to check in quickly. I did not wait in line very long. Our room was quite clean and comfortable once I set the thermostat to a comfortable level. Once we got settled, we decided to check out the indoor pool. The pool was heated which was nice because the room was colder. We didn't stay long because of the cold room. We wish it wasn't so cold in the pool room. We slept comfortable without any encountering any extraneous noise from our neighbors. Overall, we had a great stay at this hotel.

fantastic !!!!!! very satisfied with everything !!!

Everyone was friendly and the room was clean and everything we expected it to be. They even allowed us a late check out which as great!
