Sofitel is a French chain and I've always thought I'd like to stay in one of their hotels and this trip to Philly allowed it to happen. My wife and I chatted with them several times, as our flights were delayed/cancelled and they were very helpful. It is simply a class hotel.. Great fixtures, great room service and first rate staff. You will enjoy your stay here
The minute I checked in. The hotel staff upgraded me to an amazing suite! Enjoyed my stay so much! Thank you Sofitel. Will definitely return.
The staff is courteous and accommodating. The bedding is the best I have ever had.
large room, very scant towel inventory, slightly worn hotel our room was not serviced until I called at 6:30pm, despite our absence from 9:30am-4:30pm poor wait service in lounge good location
Beautiful hotel for a great getaway weekend in Center City Philadelphia
We stayed here before and everything was as expected, except the shower had mold along floor.
Stayed for a night a few days before Christmas. The junior suite was nice and spacious. Bathroom and shower was nice and spacious as well. The bathtub was standard and left something to be desired. A nice bar and lounge by the lobby with a good happy hour. Very pleased with this hotel overall.
I've stayed at the Sofitel several times. The hotel is good, staff is great. Location is in the middle of many fun restaurants. Rooms are larger than average, beds are comfortable. The hotel is a four star, but pretty much the best in central Philadelphia.
It is a really nice hotel and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was very clean.
Great staff, easy check in, comfortable bed and nice bathroom
Met at door by bellman who quickly took my bags and brought me to check-in, which was quick and easy. Room was clean, comfortable and stylish. Breakfast next morning was tasty and nicely served Check out was easy and on to my meeting.
We enjoyed our stay. Our room was spacious and clean. We had a suite so we had a pull out sofa in the living room for our kids. The dressing area with vanity was spacious and unique in a hotel room. Lanvin shampoo/soaps etc. The location is perfect. I recommend breakfast at Federal Donut. The hotel is 2 blocks from Rittenhouse Square which is perfect and close to the shopping and restaurants on Walnut. Favorite restaurant was Melograno on 20th and Sansom. Also La Colombe for coffee on 19th and Walnut.
Beautiful hotel room was large and very clean. Valet service was excellent and employee very friendly. Would recommend it to a friend and would stay again. love the location!
This hotel was just ok for me. I didn't like the bed, it seemed old. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly. I thought the parking price of $50 per night was ridiculous. I would stay again, but this would not be my first choice.
Very friendly, clean and comfy rooms. The bed was so cozy, the Suite was so big that we didn't need another room.
My wife and I were married at the Sofitel 3 years ago and we stay there for our anniversary each year. The staff is very friendly and the check-in process is always a breeze. There are plenty of great restaurants nearby. The weekend brunch is also very good.
Very courteous staff. Interior decoration is a slightly outdated but furnishings are comfortable and clean.
This hotel seemed more a stage set than a comfortable place to stay. A few observations: no drawers (though there are shelves and cubbies in the bedroom) no place to stash toiletries in the bathroom shower stall, though separate, was too small (and the shower head too high) to properly bathe only one hook in the bathroom, and oddly placed over the john the doors to the bathroom were French double doors -- horrible for privacy and a potential hazard at night. The positive: concierge staff was excellent. The location cannot be beat.
great! Easy to get around town from there. Staff was freindly and helpful.
We were disappointed in the fact that on Sunday am we could not get a complimentary cup of coffee. They shut the coffee bar down at 9:00am.
