I travel often. The rooms feel like a closet with pipes and vents everywhere. No heater. The parking is bad $15 overnight. No In and outs. the parking lot is $14hr through oit the day. Location is great though. Worst hotel i ever stayed in bar none. We left and went to another hotel with no refund. We didnt mind though. Its that bad.

Horrible experiences, dirty, the drug needle and shot was tacked in into bed sheets. Dusty

There is easy parking across the street. A starbucks on the corner. the bathrooms are updated

It was a very very very terrible stay! I suggest you NEVER go to this place !!! I stayed in the hotel from Oct 5-Oct 6 2016. The first night was very terrible ! I felt there was something in the blanket and my arms and neck was bitten by something during sleep. I felt very itch and can not sleep at all. The next morning, my both arms and necks were red. There are four red spots/erythema in left arms, three red sports in right arms, one in hand and one in neck. Then I talked to the front desk to cancel my following stay for Oct 6th. The receptionist or manager told me they can not refund if I cancel. They only can exchange the room ! There was NO apology or Sorry. No further ask situation. They just exchange the hotel room ?! What the heck ! I had to meet my client. I did not have time to argue with them. But I took pictures. PLEASE NEVER stay in that hotel!

There were weekend events I attended and this hotel was a convenient location. It is right in the heart of Center City Philadelphia. It is pretty basic but clean and comfortable. Staff is courteous. Cable tv channel line up is a bit limited. My room did have a coffee maker which I appreciated. This is the type of place to lay your head at night without spending a lot of time in the room.

It was the perfect size for one and I loved having my own shower. I will definitely stay in this hotel again!

The shower and tv were both broken. They could not fix it, and the manager never contacted me per my request. I won't stay again.

Safe location. Clean rooms. Friendly staff. I felt comfortable.

Very nice. I will probably stay there in the future!

The staff was exceptionally nice and the location was very unexpected for a Center City area.

Great location on Walnut - especially close to Forrest Theater and Thomas Jefferson U - but this is not a hotel for anyone with a belt-size beyond 40, particularly if you staying as a couple. The reservation clearly stated a Queen Sized bed, but it's a double (I doubt a queen would fit in the room). Also the elevator door is very thin (though the elevator was having electrical issues the day we checked in, so we had to walk the [also very narrow] stairs up to the 5th floor. The rooms themselves are nice, though lacking in square footage -- and I would have been more impressed if the shower head wasn't missing in our bathroom. But, again, the location is tough to beat. The price is reasonable, parking is in the garage across the street (discounted to $12 for 24 hours - front desk will validate), and the staff is really very nice and friendly and the hotel décor overall is modern and clean.

Every time I'm in Philly I stay here. It is a small hotel, but it is so clean and comfortable. The people who work here are so friendly and helpful. The location is great, right in the middle of the old town in Philly, and close to anywhere you need to go! There is a train station down the road, and a bus that stops directly by the hotel also!

This was my second time staying here. Rooms are small but not a problem unless you plan to be hanging out or working in your room. Clean and modern looking. Staff is great, they suggested a good place to get breakfast. No temperature control in the room. It was a little warmer than I would have liked but fine. If you are a normal human being you will be comfortable.

Nice basic hotel, ac is controlled at lobby for each floor not controlled in room. Everything very accessible from location

Location was perfect and staff was friendly. Hotel was nice and comfortable.

Best hotel we have stayed in so far for the price we're able to pay. The location couldn't have been any better, thank you to everyone at Rhodes Inn for great service. We look forward to returning again next year. We came down to Philly for the tattoo convention and the location was great as we were just blocks away from everything we needed. There are many different restaurants, coffee shops, and even a CVS all within walking distance. We really couldn't have picked a better location, the hotel is also right across the road from a secure parking lot and they stamped our ticket to give us a good deal on parking prices and that made a huge difference after having stayed a few days. The staff at the hotel were welcoming and all had great attitudes, as well as the house keeping ladies, thank you to all of you.

The location can't be beat! The staff was super friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and had recently been updated. My only problem and this is a big one, was the hotel was not able to keep the rooms warm enough. When I complained they moved me to a different room that was a little better. The problem is that this is an older building and city code will not allow them to put in individual room unit (this is what I was told by staff.) SO keep this in mind during really cold periods. Other than this I would highly recommend this property!

this hotel is in a great spot, easy to get to man places. it's clean and does the job.

Convenient to convention center. No character otherwise.

Dear Daniel, Your shared experience during your stay at our hotel is truly concerning. We will verify your booking with us so we could address your feedback accordingly. Providing clean, comfortable room for our guests to stay is on top of our priority and your shared experienced is very unlikely. Nonetheless, I assure you that your review will not go unnoticed.
