Precheck contact concerning any special needs or concerns was reassuring. The rooms were spacious, clean, comfortable. Enjoyed having a fire in the dinning room. Jeanette was exceptional!!! Only suggestion: ice availability.

The room was clean, comfortable and roomy. I was very happy. The staff was friendly and eager to please. The wi-fi left a little to be desired though. There were a few delays in accessing it and then service was sometimes slow, but it was really all I needed. Parking: There are a few spots on the property which was a plus (and a deciding factor) when I booked the room. There is also on street parking in the area, but I didn't really have to use it for my stay. Breakfast was fresh and tasty. We had fruit and pumpkin bread with OJ, coffee and tea. And then another plate appeared with a variety of foods. It was great way to start my day's adventures. The guests were pretty friendly as well, so a little morning conversation was really nice. One caveat: I took that particular room for the fireplace, and as the day's weather was changeable, I tried to put it on my first night, but couldn't get it to light. I asked the next morning why, and I was advised the gas was turned off due to the recently warm days. The gas was turned on and I was able to enjoy the fireplace the next night. So, if you want use of the fireplace, I'd just ask as soon as you check in. I highly recommend this spot and would return again in a heartbeat. It was exactly what I was looking for and had a wonderful 2 nights.

The area leading to the property left us a little uncomfortable, but as we’ve gotten near the property, the neighborhood was quiet and well kept. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the morning complementary breakfast extremely tasty.. The property itself is very cool due to all the antiques to go with the Victorian home..

Great B&B

Great stay. Owners were super friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was amazing. Hosts offered to make French toast for my nephew after he finished his meal. I joined in on that and it was amazing. On trolley line. Stop is basically in front of B&B. Quiet neighborhood. Definitely stay there next time in Philly.

First time staying here and the host were very responsive and even gave us many options on what to do in the area. It’s 10/10 the city is 14 mins away by taking the trolley, there’s many parks near by. Check in was at 1 pm and our host texted us and let us check in early we dropped off our bags parked our car on the property and got our adventure started.

Good place to stay, and it's nice if you're independent, for example, we could get drinks any time from the common areas downstairs. Quiet, neat, and peaceful. We did not have to worry about parking. The managers were friendly and personable, and sent personal texts the day we were scheduled to arrive, which was a friendly touch. The breakfast was delicious! We've stayed there twice and would not consider anywhere else when we go back to Philadelphia.
