GREAT location, and a nice place to stay for a long weekend in Philadelphia. Offers some great amenities, like coffee and treats, as well as a happy hour (which we couldn't attend unfortunately). Check in and out was super easy, and the front desk attendants were very friendly. Would certainly stay again.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. This place had an old school charm to it. More personable than chain hotels. Loved the shower. Would recommend this place.

Beautiful property and room. Staff is very friendly!

Beautiful building, great staff, nice treats like an espresso machine, tea, pastries, fruit, and wine complimentary. In today's world, we are often spoiled with brand new-looking hotels and fitness centers contained within-- this is neither, but it is meticulously maintained, historical charm, calming, spacious, and we loved our stay!

Beautiful boutique hotel in prime location just off Rittenhouse Square. Quiet and quaint but not set up well for business use.

Very nice property, comfortable, warm service, centrally located, well priced

Great location, especially if you’re going to Barclay Prime. Much more unique and intimate than the large hotels. Next time I spend the night in the city it will be at 1715 Rittenhouse.

Lovely hotel. Was in a room on 4th floor without direct elevator service, but that was the only drawback. Great location, too.

This hotel is a hidden gem. It is very quiet but right downtown just outside of Rittenhouse Square (and only a 20-25 minute walk to UPenn). Andrina, the concierge, was very gracious and helpful. The hotel itself appears to be two old townhouses put together so the layout is more interesting than your average chain hotel. The bed was very comfortable and we slept very well. We will be staying there again...

Convenient location near Rittenhouse Square. Comfortable room. Friendly staff. Lots of stairs.

Charming boutique hotel, attentive staff, nicely appointed room and great location.

Located just off Rittenhouse Square near Curtis Institute, this hotel is in walking distance of dozens of 3-4 star dining options and attractions. They allowed us to check in quite early, and have been helpful in all dealings. The 24 hour coffee and espresso bar is not bad too!

Staff very helpful. Hotel in good location. Room very well appointed and bathroom looked very new.. Location good for our visit to local hospital.

Everything about this hotel is well thought out. Was greeted outside by the manager, who promptly assisted us with our bags. From unloading to check-in, it was less than 5 minutes. It is in an excellent location on Rittenhouse Square and close to everything. Everyone on staff that we met were friendly and helpful. Breakfast reminded me of atypical continental breakfasts at an English bed and breakfast. Very well appointed and classy. Stayed for only one night for a weekend day trip, but will definitely be back another time.

This hotel is nice and the staff was nice. I think it was about a third overpriced. There really isn't anything special about the place to brag about. I also don't have any complaints except for the value it should be cheaper.

Great stay, very charming and well located. Near Plaza and great restaurants

Great hotel and staff. Good breakfast and great wifi.

This hotel is very convenient for shopping and dining. The historic sites are >1 mile away, so if you don't want to do a lot of walking, you would need a cab. The breakfast served was very nice, and Miss Lillian is so friendly and cheerful! Being a small hotel, there was usually only 1 person on duty, so there was some waiting on check-in/out and there is no bellman or valet. You park your own car in a public garage a few blocks away, but you can park right outside for loading/unloading. We had two issues, that may not apply to other rooms, that would prevent us from choosing this hotel again. First, the bathroom had no storage; there was a pedestal sink with a small glass shelf above it, and that was it-we had to keep most of our toiletries in the bedroom which is not ideal. Second, there is no in room thermostat for the A/C, there is a locked control in the hall for the entire floor. We were so hot the first night we asked for a fan-they did find us one and we used it the entire time we were there. That alone will keep me from returning.
