Property and decor is beautiful… however there was no heat control in the room and windows don’t open so it was a sweat lodge in our room that the staff couldn’t do anything about. Also.. the shower was either cold or scalding. They do so much right… the breakfast is wonderful.. front desk staff lovely but you couldn’t get a glass of wine in the bar and take it to your room but the bar wouldn’t accommodate in house guests without a reservation at the speak easy. When I told the manager of these issues… she graciously compensated us for one night…but I doubt we would ever stay again. At this price point … one expects the basic services such as correct temperature in the room and shower to not be an issue.

Very unique...thats what i love about boutique hotels. The "continental breakfast' exceed my expectations. Great location block off Rittenhouse. The speakeasy was another delightful surprise.
