I have stayed at Hyatt Regency Perth many times and always enjoyed my visits. Two things always stand out for me, The quality of the staff and the comfort of the beds. I always feel welcome and at home in this Hotel.
I stayed here with my partner on level 3. We chose it for the last night of our holiday due to it being close(ish) to the airport - we had an early flight. The hotel has an old school charm, very elegant... even if some aspects appear a bit dated. The room itself was a bit tired and could do with a bit of a spruce up, and the bathroom should be redone, but it fit our needs. The bed was very comfy and we slept well. it was pretty clean, although our cleaner missed half a mars bar wrapper on the marble bathroom bench top from the occupants before us... ops! We did use the pool whilst we were there - its a lovely deep pool. Its a shame they dont have a spa though. I also used the sauna, which was nice but was on a timer and took ages to get up to heat. We got two rounds of pool side drinks, and one order was prompt and the other seemed to take half an hour. If i had to stay longer, I would have upgraded to a club room, and tried to get a park view... but on the whole it was a pleasant stay. Hope that helps other travelers :-)
The breakfast buffet selection is very limited and the same menu is offered on both days without any variation. The building looks old & gloomy but the room is tidy & clean, recently renovated. However, the room is not well stocked--no slippers or toothbrush.
I always stay at the Hyatt in Perth if available. the experience is very consistent. the staff are extremely friendly, helpful and courteous from the time you arrive and they open your car door to check in / check out to getting your bags into the car to leave... not much more you can ask for. Rooms are a bit tired and need some refurbishment but the beds / pillows are very comfortable, connectivity is great... The buffets are great - not very sure I would recommend the a la carte menu items but that is an individual taste.
very poor customer service // rooms where average and need maintenance // not happy with how dirty the bathroom was // would expect the hotel to be perfect for how much you have to pay for a room there
We loved the Club room experience at the Hyatt. We would recommend the stay to anyone. The pre-dinner canapés and drinks where a really nice touch, we also loved the all day coffee machine. Room was very clean with great views.
we stayed in a suit that was clean and with lots of room staff very friendly when in the club room i asked for a glass of red wine my wife ordered a glass of white wine i could not believe when i was given a glass tumbler [no wine glasses ] the glass was still warm no sign of the glass of white wine my wife ordered so i when up to ask the response was your are hear now you might as well take it with you i was given a warm glass i was told they do not have any cold ones . i have stayed in a lot of hotels for business and pleasure but this has been the worst experience of service i have come across stayed a couple of times but will not be back
I was placed in a room above an event space, with very loud music until late at night on one occasion disturbing/preventing my sleep. The hotel itself is in a good location by the water, but is old and in need of an update. There was a strange lack of convenient plug sockets in the room.
Recently celebrated our wedding anniversary and birthdays at the Hyatt. The room was lovely both clean and quiet. The staff were outstanding , nothing to hard for them to do. Canapes and drinks on the 8th floor were a great idea. The bar in the foyer had a most relaxed atmosphere.
Stayed on Level 8 of the Club Floor levels, the room was a good size with quality fixtures and fittings. The bathroom fan was pretty weak if it worked at all but apart from that all was very good. The complimentary canapes and drinks (which is really factored into your room rate) was very good although VERY busy. The staff were friendly and attentive and the choice of drinks and spirits were very good. The food is really like a mini buffet with loads of choice and well topped up. On check out the lifts were problematic but the staff responded very well and were very helpful directly guests.
