Helpful and nice staff. Fairly good breakfast selection. Dining tables were not promptly cleaned and it was difficult to find a clean table for breakfast. Comfortable beds. Good location, walking distance from several good restaurants. Booked via the ihg app as I am a member and received rooms on the ground floor; listened to traffic most of the night. Our room wasn’t cleaned even though we were gone most of the day. All-in-all we had a couple of good sleeps, but just not quite up to 4-star quality.
Just enjoyed a one night stay at Crowne Plaza in order to attend football at the new stadium. Hotel is in a good location for transport to and from the venue. Just a short walk to Adelaide Terrace and straight on to a bus which took 7 minutes to get there. Besides that, we found the room spacious and clean and the bed extremely comfortable. Yes it would not be considered luxurious, but makes up for extra “frills” with helpful and friendly staff. My only negative comment was the fact that our room on 1st floor was beneath the pool and during the afternoon whilst having a short nap, found the constant slurping of water above and occasional thumping of children running around, a little disconcerting. Also think that one of these lower front rooms could be a little noisier with traffic on a weekday but perfectly quiet on a Sunday. Would definitely stay again.
Good Hotel in a good location. Rooms are comfortable, spacious & clean some with river views. There is a restaurant on site plus a gym and pool. Paid parking available on site. Staff are friendly and helpful.
The Crown Hotel complex is amazing. Some fantastic restaurant's the Casio is as big as any I've seen. Staff are friendly and helpful, rooms are what you'd expect from a nice hotel. However we were staying in The Promenade hotel where the pool is "Not great" it's very small and overlooks the car park!!! Hmmm... so me and my wife paid $40 each to upgrade to the Metropol hotels pool on our first day to recover from the long journey from the UK. To say the water in the pool was cold is a understatement, what the hell are they thinking having it pumped straight from the south pole. I couldn't go in it was that uncomfortable I didn't like the idea of having to swim around the titanic which had sunk in the pool earlier. I challenge the CEO of the Crown Hotel group to spend more the 5 mins in the pool with a toe or finger falling off. It was a lovely sunny day the pool surround was fantastic but the whole experience and the $40 were spoiled by the ice rink of a swimming pool.
I live local to the Crowne Plaza and usually drink and eat in the other hotels that are in the area a couple of times a week. They recently advertised a $20 meal and drink through the week and $5 pint on a Sunday so we decided to give it a go over the other places near by. Was pretty disappointed that every time I went to the bar for a $5 pint I was overcharged almost every time and had to remind the barman and manger on duty on 25th March that they were over charging me. Was completed disgusted when the manger started to ask me how much he had been charging me for previous drinks that day he was obviously hoping to charge us full price for something that was advertised as an offer that brought us here in the first place. To cap it all of he decided to stop serving our group without any explanation we presume he obviously decided we had had enough of a discount that day! Pretty fair to say we won't be returning!
Once again the Crown Plaza here in Perth WA doesn't disappoint. Whilst I'm here alone on business i wouldn't hesitate to bring my family to stay here. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Food is great, rooms are clean and a good size. There is an outdoor pool, just outside from the gym. Pack light, because there is a free laundry room, which I've used a few times. You can walk in to town in about 15 mins, or you can use one of the hotels bikes for a couple of hours. I'll be back to Perth in May/June and won't hesitate to stay at the Crown Plaza again. Enjoy your stay.
I stayed here for 3 nights on a business trip. While the hotel is slightly older, the rooms were well appointed and the staff were outstandingly helpful throughout. The outside pool and deck are very nice. WiFi was also good. I would recommend a room overlooking the river with a balcony.
Was just an overnight stay and needed a good sleep which was what I got in an excellent environment. Was picked up the next day and checked out within 5 minutes. Very swift and efficient business hotel.
This place has an amazing view of the River and would make a great stop for Australia day. Prices will show the occasion $$$$ for the min of 2 nights. For the price of $182 for the night no breakfast or complimentary drinking water I thought it was a bit steep. Great night sleep though so comfy bed and not alot of road noise so another bonus. Great for a drink no drive stop just feel not value for money.
This is one of the best Crowne Plaza's I have been to. My room had a wonderful view of the Swan river. The staff are extremely friendly, food was great as always, and the room was spacious and very comfortable. Also, the guest laundry services were adequate. I think what made this Crown Plaza different to the others I have stayed at was my interactions with the staff. They were awesome.
