Great location. Staff were very helpful and approachable. We had a corner room which was spacious and well equipped. Good views too. We booked the evening before our check in and got a really good deal. Parking is very easy with access to the hotel lobby from the car park. Breakfast was expensive but it depends what you want. There are a few places dotted around if you want a coffee and a snack.
Centrally located in Adelaide St the Pan Pacific is an excellent choice of hotels. I have stayed there on numerous occasions over the years and the quality of the hotel has never dimmed. I always have a trouble free experience when staying there and all of the staff are awesome. The rooms are always clean the beds always comfortable and the shower is great. What more could you need! If your travelling for business I would recommend the Pan Pacific in a heartbeat.
We arrived today to celebrate our wedding anniversary, we had booked the River view suite with club facilities. On arrival we were told we had welcome drinks as part of the package and to go up to the club loumge to have it and that canapes and drinks started at 5.30 on going up to the lounge they knew nothing about it and that we had to wait till 5.30. The suite is large and the view is beautiful however the furniture is old, dated and worn as per picture. The bathroom is small the shower door wont open unless you lift it up before trying to pull it open and no hairdryer. The dressing room has great mirror but lighting is so poor you can't do your make-up there. We came back tonight after going out and decided to have a tea before bed you can't have more than one each as they only supply 2 tea bags and no milk. We rang reception and asked for milk, they bought up a glass and charged us $4 for it. So if you decide to stay here bring your own milk. Really not impressed and won't be back or recommend
We stayed at the Pan Pacific for one night as a mini staycation since we had gone up to Geraldton for a few days and weren’t ready to go home just yet. The parking is very pricey. At $30 a day (and you can’t leave) is a bit much. We were on the 17th floor and being that we had a 1 year old and a 2 year old we needed to have a room with two double beds (most hotels have a 3 person max per room with a one king bed room) so I understand the two double beds as I said I wanted to make sure we were all in the one room (since the babies are little). In saying that the room was very very cramped. Very cramped. I was disappointed as we’ve stayed at places such as the Hyatt and Duxton and never felt cramped. The bathroom was very tiny. My husband just had no room to move and he’s just of average height. Very old looking and could do with a reno. The bathtub and shower was all apart of one and not even 1 meter in width which meant as you put soap on your body you elbows hit the tiles and glass door. The windows were dirty overlooking the comfort inn hotel. The drinks lounge was also a bit underwhelming and happy hour included only a choice of two cocktails! Not as if we didn’t spend money there we had $155 worth of drinks and bar food, but happy hour generally isn’t ever a choice of just two cocktails. The pool which was incredibly tiny meaning you couldn’t even do laps. During drinks at the lounge one of the lovely reception staff members gave me two little packs of colouring books which the kids enjoyed. We decided to have dinner inside the room. In room dining was great. Food was amazing! Overall we felt as if crappy rooms were given to people with kids as none of the photos advertised show the bathroom looking like the one we had. Just disappointing that we felt we got an old non refurbished room because of the kids. We would have mentioned this had any of the reception staff asked how our stay was upon checking out.
Third stay at the hotel and again can't fault it for customer service, food, decor and just being a lovely place to be in. Close to shops and importantly just short walk down to the river. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Perth on a holiday trip.
On a quiet week in January i got an excellent rate for a deluxe King room. The room is nice however the view over the swan river is awesome. I was lucky enough to be in an end room with one whole wall being a window looking over the beautiful swan river. Super comfy bed, good sized room, big bathroom with the shower, bath and toilet seperate to the large vanity area. Shower is a bit on the small size, and I am small! The hotel gym is one of the best I have been to, as much equipment as a professional gym, looks all new and was fantastic to work out in. Nice but small pool area, which gets shady in the afternoon.
Stayed 3 nights over new year. We had booked a deluxe room and were upgraded to a refurbished room on the top floor upon arrival which was really nice to receive. The view was great. Our breakfast was included and was full of options. Clearly the pancakes are the most popular as you had to be standing they're when they came out! Other nice things were a complimentary barrista coffee and individually made omelettes. The hotel was close to most places, we walked to Grill and Chill for one dinner and also close to the Barrack Street jetty for our Rottnest Island boat. Room was cleaned nicely each day. Shower leaked slightly, the only thing slightly off putting the entire stay. Would love to stay again.
I have stayed here a few times and the experience is always great, rooms are well appointed and clean and the service is always exceptional. Views are magnificent if you have the right room and the breakfast buffet is as good as any 5 star hotel I have been to, anywhere in the world.
Pan Pacific was an extremely great choice of hotel for a short getaway with excellent room amenities and customer service. We used the valet service on arrival and were quickly checked in by polite front counter staff. We were offered an upgrade to the executive suite which we decided to take for an extra $80 in total. The room was spacious, clean and had a beautiful view of the river. We decided to go have a look at the pool area before our complimentary canapés and drinks in the premier lounge. Out of our entire stay the pool was the only thing that was a bit of a disappointment. It was very small in a tucked away corner of the hotel and hides the views of the river. It could just use a little bit of atmosphere like the rest of the hotel does so well. We had some lovely canapés and champagne at the premier lounge in the evening before retiring to our beautiful room. All in all a wonderful stay, I will recommend and can’t wait to return.
This place is amazing! Such lovely big open rooms! Comfy bed, big TV, nice bathroom and fantastic room service :) we only stayed here for one night but for that night we had an excellent and refreshing sleep and ordered room service which was absolutely amazing! The room service man was delightful as well :D the only bad thing is that you have to pay for parking
