We spent a couple a days in this nice tidy and green city and we stayed at Pan Pacific Hotel which is a 5* quite located in the center of the city. Nice and modern has good services excellent area to stay to rest at pc area and a big bar and a SPA. Very kind at the reception and I must especially congratulate the concierge André for his helpfulness and kindness and for his excellent suggestions. Our room was a little bit old fashioned however it was big and has everything you needed with 2 queen size beds. Excellent breakfast and if wanted lunch and dinner buffet or à la carte. External swimming pool 🏊🏻 (which is sunning just in the morning). Abbiamo trascorso qualche giorno a Perth, città molto bella ordinata pulita e verdeggiante e abbiamo alloggiato all’hotel 5* Pan Pacific che è situato piuttosto in centro.

I arrived by taxi and had to carry my own cases in and wait with them at reception. I was not offered help to the room. To be fair the check in was friendly and efficient. The room was spacious and well equipped but rather tired decor with no warmth. Cleanliness also a bit questionable as lamps were thick with dust. Apart from water, the mini bar was not replenished each day either. Concierge and doorman helpful at all times as were some other members of staff. I waited 10 minutes for service at the bar and eventually went to reception for them to get someone - again concierge helpful. When the barman arrived, he smelled strongly of smoke so had obviously been on a break outside leaving the bar unattended. Once there however, he was helpful and attentive - a management issue I feel? All these things were irritants, but not enough to make me write this review. However having been busy all day I got back to the hotel and noticed the restaurant had a buffet served until 22.00. At 21.05 I arrived at the restaurant. The person in front of me was told he only had 20 minutes to eat. I therefore asked as there was theoretically 55 minutes left before the buffet closed if I could take it. I was told it would be cleared in 20 minutes. I find this infuriating as no flexibility was shown and the only concern was to clear up. The notice was in no way ambiguous as it clearly stated buffet served until 22.00. Absolute false advertising to suit staff rather than guests. Inexcusable. This intransigence and inconsistency is not becoming of the brand or the rating. I walked over to the Novotel opposite and was greeted with “the restaurant is closing in the next few minutes, but if you would like to sit in the bar we will happily serve you there” what a difference! Very disappointing

When we checked in we discovered that the hotel is undergoing an upgrade. We checked into our rooms which were very dated and not up to the 5 star rating. We then upgrades to a refurbished room for an extra $20 a night. These were what we had expected. Nice rooms with modern fittings. We had a nice view as well. The staff in the hotel are very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was okay, nothing special. Shame the bacon isn't crispy. The bar area isn't very welcoming. We went across the road to the pub in the Novotel for some atmosphere. Drinks were cheaper too. We found the location of the Pan Pacifc quite good too.

We stayed at the Pan Pacific as part of our west to east trip across Australia and this hotel was the best! Check in extremely efficient, with a good explanation of the hotels facilities and breakfast timings etc. We were given a room upgrade and the room was enormous, even though we were facing the road on the 7th floor, we heard absolutely nothing and the most comfortable bed ensured we slept soundly. The room was well equipped and furnished to a high standard, the shower, towels and toiletries were again of high quality. Room cleanliness was exceptional. Breakfast service was fast and efficient and special orders were quickly delivered and hot. The hotel is well located and within a short walking distance of the town centre and is in a safe area. Check out again was fast and efficient and we really felt valued. Nothing seemed too much trouble for any member of staff I would most strongly recommend this hotel and what a fantastic choice we made. All pros and no cons - Excellent

We spent two nights in a club room on the 7th floor. Our corner room was bright and a good size with a huge bed. The glassed in bathroom featured a bath and separate shower. The room was comfortable with the exception of the pillows which were too soft and floppy. It was also pleasant being able to use the club lounge until 9pm. We had breakfast there and they also do drinks and canapes in the evening. The hotel is in a good spot and it was an easy walk to everywhere we needed to go.

This was my second time in this hotel. Last year I have had a good experience and I asked our people to book me in again for my last week's trip to Perth. It somehow lost its soul.... People were not enthusiastic as they used to be. Seemed like no one cared what's going on in the front desk as well as in their restaurant. Upon arrival they could not find my booking then with a help she finally did find it, but somehow she acted like it was my mistake for misspelling my last name!!!! The food is just bad really bad... It is cold and tasteless. The room itself is just from 1960's. I wonder how can they justify to charge $180 per night for this rubbish is beyond me..... Well now I decided not to come back as there are many other options in Perth. By the way the room is cold River View Suite... Don't ever stay in this so-called suite...

Wonderful hotel staff all so friendly very clean. Beds are Fantastic so comfortable. Not to far from things to see can be a bit windy where hotel is( but its welcome) the pool is small and can get very windy. Super market across from hotel ans an Irish pub.

I stayed for one night and can honestly say the staff are some the friendliest and most helpful I have encountered. From shopping recommendations, to help with luggage, to proactive suggestions to making my stay in Perth better, and the provision of shower/changing room for use after checking out, before a night flight was very much appreciated. The room was very quiet, bed very comfy, I could ask for no more from any hotel

This hotel is supposed to be a five star one. However, although the lobby looks swanky, the rooms, or to be more precise, our room didn’t. The room needs to be updated and in particular the bathroom, it looked tired and dated. The silicone was mouldy. Not sure what was on the plug hole in the sink. The shower was inefficient and very difficult to get the temperature right. There must be a problem with the plumbing as we heard water running in other peoples rooms throughout the night (which would wake us up) and generally when we were in the room. To cap it all there was a fault in the fire alarm system which woke us up during the night. So Pan Pacific, Perth, when are you going to refurb your rooms or did we just get the only duff one?

Stayed here last week for 2 nights in an executive room. Nice hotel and the staff were great. Love that the exec rooms have their own lift but room was a little uneventful. expected more from a recently renovated room.
