Great property. Quite clean and nice staff. Was worried after booking then i read reviews. Dud not see what some were complaining about...its not a hotel! Once you realize that its great! Plenty of restaurants in walking distance.

I liked apartment feel. Good room, kitchen and laundry was excellent. Nice view. Nice pool. Beach access closed. Had to walk down the street to get to beach. Front desk not very friendly or helpful, some good some not. Had to pay extra for daily room service.

They had air conditioning. The parking spaces are very small. The beach in front is GONE. Have to go next door to reach the water because of erosion. The room was comfy & quiet, well laid out for enjoyment.

Good location, close to beach , groceries and shopping

We stayed here before in 2010 and had a great time, room was clean and updated. The staff was great also. The only issue we had was with the AC unit, it was an issue part of our stay but the hotel helped us out! Thanks again!

The Property was old. In the middle of eating breakfast a “Roach” ran across the kitchen wall and this was in our suite we all had a total of 3 Three rooms including an ocean front room because I was getting married that week. the staff was great and very polite but as far as the hotel resort it’s very old and needs to be remodeled

Once again we stayed here at Royal Kahana and had an even better experience than before. Our room was beyond our expectations and the view was outstanding.

Good location...clean....friendly service....could use a new mattress too soft for me....easy to find...

Nice place, after our visit I realized it was important to read all the information on their website as I didn't realize they did have a washer/dryer (I could have packed lighter), and no beach access during Fall/Winter.

The room that I stayed in looked like it needed to be updated. The furniture was old and the ceiling needed to be painted

We spent little time in the room but still wish it were cleaner. Noted that we are in Hawaii and things get dirty but carpet was filthy and you really didn’t want to sit on couch. The mold in the bathtub was gross.

Bit much to Pay $111 for ending housekeeping and then if you want maid Service during your stay it's $25 with a 3 day minimum Charge! EVEN TO GET CLEAN TOWELS they wanted $75 Just know that before you book.

Location is perfect. There's alot of shopping thats close by, plus family friendly beaches. Staff are always good there, this is our third stay and woulf recommend this place to anyone.

This is my third time to Maui. My fiancé and I were on a budget so we found this deal. The hotel staff did not greet us one time. No eye contact/smile, nothing. The room had nice appliances, but carpet that looked like it hadn't ever been changed. There was mold on the curtains and in the shower. Cockroaches also in the room and mouse droppings along the corners of the wall. Walls are paper thin. Please don't waste your money. You can find a better deal somewhere else.

Maui Outrigger was a bargain for the money compared to other hotels in Maui. The facility was in a great location, clean and staffed with helpful and friendly people. It exceeded expections for the money spent.

When I arrive to the hotel, I opened up the guestbook in my room defined countless reviews about the cockroach problem in the room. I didn't want to believe it until I saw a cockroach myself :(

Hotel was dated with no beach access due to bad beach erosion. Bed was comfortable and small kitchenette was enough to get us through the week. Pool was heated. Parking was terrible. Spots are very small and had to squeeze in and out of spots even in a small car. We got what we paid for.

6th straight year here, sadly the beach is gone from storms and no access to any beach. Hopefully Mother nature brings it back nothing better then walking out the Hotel to sandy beaches, very sad. Still one of the nicest location next to the ocean if you want to hear waves and see whales from your Lani in January. Outrigger is back on site and they have always taken care of us.

Nice people love the clean pool. Love the friendly people and workers.
