Great rooms with unique decorating, friendly staff, and great location.

Beautifully maintained historic hotel with a great restaurant. Staff was wonderful, the room was great, and we really enjoyed the ambiance of the facility. We'd definitely stay here again!

Well decorated n general. Rooms are themed and beautiful.very well done. Bathrooms large. Rooms very small. No chair n the welsh room. Very warm. Couldn’t find air conditioning! Recommend for the ambience!

The hotel is charming and wonderfully appointed. Check in and check out were smooth. Friendly and helpful staff. The inside bike storage area was clean and secure. We enjoyed the railroad-themed diner, too.

We chose to stay in this hotel as a unique getaway for the night. We were given the Italian Room, and enjoyed the book about the hotel and all the different rooms and their themes. We also stayed for breakfast, and shared one meal as the servings were very large. Staff were very friendly and welcoming to our needs.

It is hard to describe the Hotel Partee. It is a boutique hotel set in a small Iowa town on 7,000. Rooms are decorated in themes. I stayed in the Anton Dvorak (Czech composer) room. The room was like a trip to Praque. It is a small town so do not expect late night service or a 4 star restaurant. There is no valet but you can park at the front door or in the back lot and come through the back entrance. I booked through this site and got an $89 rate. The hotel website offers much higher priced rooms.

Hotel was great, building was awesome, super nice bar and dining was suburb..... However the staff was not very helpfull, couldnt answer any questions about the hotel at check in. there was vomit on the floor in the lobby well into the late morning nobody seemed to care, there were open tables all over the dining room and we still waited over 20 min.to be seated, when we tried to get there attention the bartender was very rude. when she finally came and sat us herself (after giving us bad looks for another 10 min. just standing there) she didnt say the specials or hello or anything very rude. at check out there seemed to be confusion about what credit card was used at check in i told them there wouldnt be any charges anyhow and he gumbled back something about it has to be on record (which i was aware of before, this isnt my first hotel stay!!!) and 2 days later they charged me for my room even though i paid online, easy mistake right, so i called to let them know and the guy starts talking like its my fault. nice place bad service....
