They told us up front that our room was under renovation. Probably was scheduled for renovation at some future date. The evening we were there, there was non-stop traffic in the parking lot, including cabs that would drop people off and pick people up. By 11PM, we discovered a ton of beetle-like bugs crawling out of the bathtub drain. They offered us another room which wasn't much better, but after seeing what was going on in the parking lot, we were scared and left. The smoke detector in our room was removed from the ceiling with wires hanging down. We surmise that was to prevent it from going off while people were "cooking" stuff in the room. No tourist should ever stay there. To their credit, they still haven't charged our card for the part of an evening we spent there.

There were clumps of popcorn ceiling hanging down in the rooms, roaches crawling out of the microwave, blood and make-upstains on the sheets, hair in the bed, cigqrette burns in the blankets. We requested a new room and the second room was just as bad. We requested a refund and they refused. The free breakfast was cereal with warm milk. The juice machine, toaster and coffee maker were all 'broken'

My wife could not breath due to the smell. We only

Honestly we are the type of people that like to try to see the positive in everything. Unfortunately, there was nothing positive about our stay at this place! We do not get to travel often, because of a limited budget, but, this was, by far, the worst hotel experience we have ever had, or could have ever imagined! Roaches EVERYWHERE, air conditioning bareley working (in July), filthy beyond words, 4 ice machines-all broken, etc, etc. The icing on the cake, was when we expressed our feelings to the clerk at the desk, absolutely no amends or refunds, were even offered. PLEASE, if you ever go to visit beautiful Pensacola, STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! It is BEYOND awful!

It was horrible, rats, roaches, room felt nasty bed had animal hair, hotel in general had a nasty odor. We saved money but I rather spend some extra dollars next time

We stayed at this hotel for a family trip and the hotel is very dirty and grimy. Halls were dirty and smelled on any give day and at night time reeked of marajuana. The room cleaners did not come 2/4 days and when they did, still did not change sheets. I know because they had the exact same stains.

This hotel was terrible! Rooms were diity, roaches & ants, toilet falling over, no plug for bathtub, broken table,. I had a smoking room with no ashtrays had to use a cup with water. This was the second room we moved to. The first room I couldn't see due to there were no lights. There is an outdoor pool if you like to swim in green dirty water.

We decided to stay even with the other bad reviews thinking they had to have had time to clean up their act....NOT! the hall smells bad. the first room they gave us had not been cleaned. They said they would bring us extra towels and coffee and they didn't. When I called the next morning to get sweetener for the coffee the front desk person was so rude and said she didn't have any either. they did clean our room but the towels seem as if they had been washed 500 times and was paper thin. we had mold in our bathroom shower. I was afraid to eat breakfast there so we ate out. They have a pool but I would much rather get wet in my moldy shower then to step into that dirty thing. For three days they had a huge trashcan in the hallway that would catch the water coming from a pipe out of the wall (this is very nice for customers to see). I did see that owner coming in with his BMW I wish he would keep his hotel in a BMW way. I will never stay at this dump again.

The staff was friendly and excellent! The room left much to be desired. The bathroom wall was cracked, the room felt dirty and we didn't feel comfortable walking on the carpet barefoot. It was late when we came in so didn't feel like moving all our stuff for only a few hours rest. Other guests would also leave the security doors open, for their own convenience, making us feel unsafe.

Overall: pretty good, the only thing the hallway had a smoking smell. But other than that it was good because it has fridge, clothing iron and more necessary accessories. I will recommend.

This was the worst hotel I have stayed, was very old, the bathroom very little, looked dirty, they don't keep the doors locked so anyone can get in. I would not recommended. Very spooky!

The hotel is a little out dated but very clean , nice staff , need softer bed but over all great place

The desk clerks were very nice. The hotel was nice for the price. Better than I expected. They did not have much of a continental breakfast but Waffle House is next door and McDonalds is across the street. We were focused on beach. They have directions that's easy to follow to Pensacola Beach.

Good location and fast check in service. Good for the money país.

I chose this hotel because it wasn't very much money and it was close to the things we were planning on doing. When we first arrived we had trouble even getting a room because they said they were over booked (even though we booked there months in advanced), luckily they said someone had canceled so we got a room. When we go to our room, it was a simple room, the wifi did not work, the hot water did not work for longer than 10 minutes and when we said something to the staff about it, they acted as if it were our fault it wasn't working and did nothing to fix it. Will not ever be staying there again!

The room itself was nice n clean. but the staff wasnt that great n didnt know what they were doing when it came to online reservations.

I don't know why people complained about this hotel. It was clean, comfortable and had friendly staff. The price was great, the room was cool, shower was hot and had all the basic necessities when you're not there but to sleep. It certainly met my budget needs & allowed for my daughter and I to enjoy Pensacola. I would stay again for sure. :)

Might not be the best but staff are very friendly....kept our room clean at all time good for the price...yeah the hotel is old but save us a lot of money..

This hotel was so bad, I don't even think it deserves one star. I don't even know where to begin when starting to tell my experience, so i will just start with the moment I opened the door to the lobby and smelled the most awful stench. Ok, people really? This is a simple solution…AIR freshener! The worst part is, it's your guests first impression, which tells me, they really don't care. So then I went to the desk to tell them I had arrived and the room wasn't ready. "It is a laundry problem" I was told. Ok, I kept my cool…but not really my problem I was thinking. I told them that I had an event in Perdido Key in less that two hours that I had to get ready for and drive an hour (which by way is the only reason I booked here is because all the beach property was booked). Well when we pulled around the hotel to park and go to our room, it just got worse. The hallway stunk, and I heard the housekeepers complaining (probably about me) because they were short staffed and couldn't help it. Ok, so they tried to be cordial when they saw me, but a little too late I believe. Then when we went in the room, it was one of those places that I was afraid I would take bed bugs home so I didn't even set my suitcase on the floor, nor would I have ever considered walking barefoot in there. SO the worse was when I pulled out the ironing board to iron my clothes and the cover was filthy. I laid a towel over it trying to improvise and the iron burned my shirt. My boyfriend and I looked at each other and said "That's it! We are not staying here!" Thankfully we didn't because when we were loading up the car to leave, a car full of SKEEZY looking people pulled up and jumped in the pool. By the time we left (approximately 3 minutes) they were walking out to get in their car and we watched them drive away. All we could do was laugh…I mean really? Did they pull up to bathe and then drive away? I have never been so disgusted in my life. I just walked back in the stinky lobby and handed my keys back in. Ridiculous! If you have standards at all, please take my advice and save your money. it wasn't just a bad experience, this is just a terrible, scary place. After our event we drove to Mobile. since Pensacola was booked up for the weekend. I have never been so happy to be in a CLEAN, SAFE hotel in my life.

We stayed here on a spur of the moment girls weekend. Hotel was actually not too bad. Of course, we weren't there too often, basically just to sleep. We did go to the pool one evening after the beach--pool was very clean! Room was clean! Staff was nice and gave us good directions and places to go eat and to go out. The breakfast kinda sucked though, I like cereal from a box, not a dispenser.. So did not eat breakfast there!
